As always, here is a video…

In the previous mission you showed your skills at surviving in harsh climate and building your settlement. Now it’s time to show your prowess in battle. This land is also occupied by hordes of filthy undead. And the easiest way to make it free? Take their leader’s head!

Of course he is surrounded by heavy defenses and the Undead don’t fear death, but you didn’t expect the mission to be easy, did you? Besides, you have the finest Sarranga warriors at your disposal - use them as you see fit. Will you make a desperate charge or a deliberate plan? Set a cunning ambush or fight honorably? In any case, don’t die. You don’t want to live the rest of your life as an undead, do you?

This is it for today’s Diary - but Sarranga’s story has just started!

Development Diary (Part 22)

Good Lords, Fair Ladies!

As we mentioned in the previous Diary, today we start exploring a new arc of the story.

As always, here is a video…

▶️Assimilation is a thing

…and details.

BE CAREFUL, SPOILERS AHEAD

Do you remember the Sarranga tribes you’ve met upon arriving on the Uncharted Continent? What if you could throw away all the troubles of your homeland, forget the King, the Rebels and their foolish struggle, join the locals and live a simple life? Well, you can.

Of course, leaving a struggle behind, you invite another one to take its place. As an alien in these lands you have to earn respect in the eyes of the natives. And the best way to do it? To take part in their rituals, obviously. Thus you find yourself in the middle of a wasteland surrounded by hostile wildlife and scarce resources. And all of that spiced up with extreme weather conditions and regular droughts.

So you have to survive in the harsh conditions and gain the natives’ trust by physically abusing their deity… Oh, and please, kill those undead monsters peacefully chilling in their camps. Their deaths may become the turning point in your and Sarrangas’ mutual relationship!

Sounds like by far the most unique mission in the game, isn’t it? But there are more! See you in the next Diary!
