Hotfix Notes for version 1.08 - Dezember 02, 2020

This hotfix fixes a bug in the tutorial and some other minor bugs. Furthermore the fire is now shown on the map.

ENGINE

Fixed:

- Fixed a bug that caused the plow of the grain farm to freeze
- Fixed a bug that caused the street to still be activated in the tutorial after closing the menu


Changed:

- new inhabitants come to the city at 6 am, 12 noon and 6 pm, if inhabitants have died before
- first mission of the campaign temporarily disabled because it is being revised

UI

Fixed:

- Upgrade to Level 2 button is no longer erroneously displayed for Lv3 houses after loading
- Fixed a bug that caused the wrong number of workers to be displayed in the building UI
- The number of residents is now colored red even after loading if residents have died
- The bead and the king are now no longer displayed when the screenshot mode is active

Added:

- Fire is now also shown on the map and minimap
- Shortcuts and menus are now highlighted in the tutorial text

ENGINE

Fixed:

- Residents will now look for the right sleeping positions and waypoints after loading when the town hall has been expanded to Lv2 and/or Lv3
- Council members are now looking for the right positions when the town hall has been expanded to Lv2 and/or Lv3
- Fixed a bug that caused the residents to levitate
- Fixed a bug that caused castle upgrades to not be built even though the building site was free
- Fixed a bug that caused the scrollbars in the inventory to no longer disappear, making goods unusable
- Fixed a bug related to a wrong setting of the scrollbar in the crafting menu
- Fixed a bug that caused some market carts not to find their way to the store after loading
- The messenger is now also activated in older games
- The messenger now runs to the edge of the card when it is sent to the king
- Fixed a bug that prevented the fire from being extinguished after loading
- Houses can now also be extinguished if they catch fire after an attack
- Torch was erroneously instantiated twice in the player's hands when throwing burning torches
- Music no longer stops abruptly while loading
- Music no longer overlaps when a game is loaded in-game
- Dwelling Lv1 type 2 can now be demolished
- Street section that was placed too close to the town hall and caused streets to snap in too close to the town hall and therefore not buildable, deactivated
- The game is no longer lost when the second, third,... town hall is destroyed
- Fixed a bug that rarely caused residents to walk to the edge of the map without working after waking up
- Construction workers now do not automatically look for the next free construction site when they are removed from the construction site by the player, but become free workers
- The player can no longer use weapons or tools when menus are open
- Both player hands are now released when the player puts down the bow
- Beadle, King's messenger and Co. are no longer displayed during but after the council meeting
- The attitude of the council members is now loaded correctly when loading the game
- Towers and gates can now also be built on stone walls
- The hunting bow is no longer displayed in the construction menu by mistake
- The horse market cart upgrade is now loaded correctly

Changed:

- The probability to convince a council member in the meeting is much higher now
- Roads and walls are kept as active objects if the road/wall was set in the construction mode


UI:

Fixed:

- Cursor reset is no longer used when opening menus
- Research buttons now show the correct image after loading games if they have already been researched
- The correct name is now displayed if the hunter is connected to the warehouse
- Added a message at the well, that you can fill the bucket with water
- The panel of houses in the building menu no longer moves down
- Correct build level in the buttons and tooltips is now displayed


Changed:

- Message that a bucket is needed at the well moved to the bottom of the screen below the panel
- Building icon of the clay pit color matched to the clay icons
- Menus are now no longer closed when you click on the button of the currently opened menu
- Added a message that shows when resources are still needed at the construction site, but the player is already trying to build
- The messenger now has its own icon

Patch Notes for Hotfix 1.07 - November 21, 2020

This hotfix fixes some bugs in the engine.

Fixed:

- Fixed crash that was rarely caused by placing walls
- Fixed a loading bug
- Sound of the road construction tool is no longer triggered by the AI
- The bug which immediately caused the town hall to be extended was fixed


Improved:

- The terrain analysis which is started by building walls is now much more perfomant

Patch Notes for version 1.07 - November 14, 2020

With this patch we introduce the new nobility title system. As already announced, a lot of new tasks by the king, a new correspondence system, three new public servants and a lot of privileges are waiting for you.

After this big feature patch we will focus on bug fixing and feedback from the game in the next patches. With this version we have finally created the most extensive systems in the background and reached the game depth we had in mind since the early access. Now it's time to expand and improve existing systems. As always, we are grateful for the feedback you give us and listen carefully to your criticism!

Now briefly to the new features:

The King's messenger now appears regularly in your city with orders. You can simply ignore these orders, but there is always a disregard for the king connected with it, which can result in loss of reputation, loss of nobility (if you have one) and even confiscation of property. With successful completion of these orders you will of course increase your reputation with the king.
Furthermore, you now have the opportunity to write directly with the king in the writing room of the city hall. This will unlock a number of side quests, which in turn will bring you reputation bonuses.
If you have done well with the king, you will be promoted to the next title of nobility in the near future. There are several privileges associated with this. For example, the right of veto can only be used from the first title of nobility and with higher titles more civil servants can be employed. We plan to extend the privileges in the future.
Furthermore the public servants are new. A Beadle, a night watchman and a tax collector are now at your disposal. We are planning to expand them by adding city guards.

We have reworked the simulation of the inhabitants so that your construction workers no longer run like crazy through the construction sites. Also the workers at the mines and farms will bring more variety to your surrounding businesses with the option to rest and last but not least the workers in the workshops will no longer look for the same work positions at the same time.

We have also fixed some bugs. Satisfaction values are now correctly displayed and calculated in the menus, the "worker can't find the farm" bug should now finally become history, and the bug that construction workers didn't transport resources to the construction site when the player helped has been fixed.

Furthermore the workers are now automatically selected according to their interest in the work. Attention: Of course there can still be dissatisfied workers. If there is too little choice of free workers, of course unsuitable workers will be selected. Finally, if you manage to rise to the rank of a duke, you can completely eliminate the negative satisfaction of the workers.

Finally, we have also revised the audio system. Beside some new sounds, we have added a new rain sound. The ambience system has also been reworked. Maybe we will do some remixes in some places with the upcoming patches.

- (hopefully) last "workers can't find the construction site" bug
- a bug that occurred when the player transported resources from the town hall to a construction site - sometimes the resources were reserved for another construction site, which resulted in a lack of resources there
- rare bug that caused hunters, herders and workers on the grain farm to go to the game boundary after loading
- the satisfaction of the lumberjacks with their work has been corrected
- an error in the overall satisfaction was fixed
- Bloom is no longer reset

We have noticed that some players have asked about our roadmap.
Which is not in it: Of course we will continue to work hard on the bugfixing and are looking forward to all your suggestions and ideas!

We will already be able to fulfill one part of the roadmap this weekend, as we are planning a major patch that includes a new nobility system, a new mail system and new public servants.
