Patch 3.0.6 - UI Updates, Emotes, and more!

Crossposted from our Discord

@everyone @Updates

**Steam patch 3.0.6** was pushed live last night! Be sure to download it if you haven't yet.

**Notes:**

- Caps lock walk/run toggle REMOVED for now - this was a massive frustration for new and veteran players.
- Movable UI elements are in (they don't save position yet, also don't drag them off screen  )
- Map reveal radius doubled when exploring the world - Makes revealing the world map less tedious and much more reasonable.
- Map and Minimap default zoom much further out - many new players were noting that the world map was way too cluttered due to the default zoom being way too close.
- NPC, Player, and Monster markers size reduced. This reduces pixelation and map clutter.
- UI Spacing/Positioning updated to be more clean.
- Chat Font Size reduced. We will bring this back up next patch as it feels a little too small now.
- Minimap rotation bug fixed.
- 21 total dances are now in game, up to /dance 21.
- 20 random emotes. (wave, cry, sob, bored, salute, etc)
- Priest: Flames Judgment fix.
- Hunting shot on mushrooms further reduced.
- Removed bladed grass on login screen which fixed the texture error on startup.
- Fixed the snow tiles that were blinding during the day.
- 8 new music tracks now in game.
- Random load screen wallpapers, let us know your feedback on these? Want to see more?
- Meteor shower collision effects updated.

Thanks for playing Ethyrial, we greatly appreciate it! Don't hesitate to share any thoughts or feedback in #general - we'd love to hear from you!

Server patch just hit. Steam patch building and will be coming tomorrow

**Notes:**

- Steam Patch: XYZ coordinates in the top left indicator display can be toggled on/off in your settings.
- Over 150 crafting recipes updated to support multiple inputs for logs, cloth, leather, etc. For example, you may now craft an Ethyrite Pickaxe using Spiritwood OR Wispwood interchangably. This is a small change but improves crafting fluidity.
- Arcane Transceiver added as a trade option for 50 Hunter's Writs. This will enable you to turn in and obtain new tasks while out in the field. We'll improve the UI elements in the near future.
- All 4 Hydra Necklaces are now craftable using unique rare materials. If you've gotten a Hydra fang in the last few days, DM me so I can trade you for the one that corresponds to your main stat.
- Antitoxin added as a level 15 alchemy recipe and item. This will cure poison and grant immunity for 15 seconds.
- Platinum Leyline Thread added to tailoring vendor for 250g/unit.
- Umbral Goblin respawn time corrected.

Daily Server Patch - April 7, 2024

@Updates

Patch dropped last night but we're just getting notes out for you now

**Notes:**

- Leatherworking, Tailoring, Blacksmithing, & Woodworking XP values have had a full pass and balance. Generally, XP rates were slightly improved. Blacksmithing was the most refined XP progression before and now everything should feel approximately as smooth as BS was before.

- Guardian now receives Whirling Strike from their first class quest instead of Inspiring Banner. Inspiring Banner is now received at level 15.

- Silver and Copper now automatically convert into Gold and Silver, respectively! Due to a poor decision on my part to make stacks go to 999, we have had to make the auto-conversion happen at 1,000 coins. This means:

Silver: Your 1000 Copper will become 10 Silver

Gold: Your 1000 Silver will become 10 Gold

- There is now a level up animation and sound effect. Let us know how you like these effects!

- The Superior Earth Elemental location north of Narrowbane has been reworked by @sudsmcduff :apple:

- Enchanting 2h weapons with Greater Attribute essence will now correctly give 2x stats.

- All Medium and Greater Elementals have had their spots re-worked and improved to ensure that players have a viable and fluid spot to farm them.

- The Demonic Anchor for the DmK and Cultist class quests on SI has been re-worked to be significantly more apparent and easier to find while keeping the awesome demonic theme.

- Druid: Flourish tooltip updated.

- Recently Bandaged has been made back into a debuff since it was a bit annoying to see when included in buffs. We will fix the interaction with toxic cleanse.

- Hurry now drop off **On Damage Taken** not **On Enter Combat**

- Updated Coal, Iron, and Copper veins in Old Mines to give the appropriate 3 ore maximum instead of 2.

- Sara Summerset is now invulnerable.

- Hydras are now non-elites, we will work on adding Elites to a suitable location nearby with higher droprates so both solo and group play can be engaged in.

- Dolenar Shoulders, Breastplate, and Gauntlets are now dyeable after being missed in the first pass.

- Blacksmithing Forges have been updated with more baseline grid slots.
T1 - 25 slots
T2 - 30 slots
T3 - 36 slots

- Reworked Thistlebrook mine to include a lot more gold and silver and a bit less coal!

- Hunter's Writ icon updated.

Thanks for enjoying the world of Irumesa! We appreciate each and every player
