After years in development, we are proud to call this update Version 1.0. Here are some of the major changes. Complete patch notes below...
[h2]Quests[/h2]
You now have quests! Quests like “Kill enemies”, “Upgrade a weapon”, “Evolve DNA”, etc., award coins depending on the quest tier. Tier 1 quests give you 1000 coins, tier 2 quests give you 5000 coins, and tier 3 quests give you a bounty of 25000 coins!!! The Quest menu is in the bedroom and requires internet.



[h2]Light Sword Quest[/h2]
You can now unlock a Light Saber via a new quest! The light saber replaces the existing saber and you can choose which saber to bring to the battle.



[h2]Halloween and Christmas Events[/h2]
We added Halloween and Christmas events! The Halloween event starts on October 15 while the Christmas event starts on December 15. Both events last 30 days.

During the Halloween event, you’ll encounter our first mini-boss, the Witch. You’ll have a pumpkin pistol that does double damage to witches. You’ll have a tier 3 quest to “Kill 10 witches”.



During the Christmas event, a seasonal “Gift Drop” game mode is unlocked. Gift drop mode works like the “Air Drop” challenge mode where a random inventory mechanic makes each map a Rogue-lite mission. You go in with nothing and random ammo, traps, and towers drop from the air every minute. You can also find hidden gifts and chimneys in all maps. You’ll have a tier 3 quest to “Deliver 50 Gifts”. Plus, you’ll meet the Grinch mini-boss.



[h2]Jitter Removal[/h2]
As requested by the community, we added interpolation to remove jitter, everywhere. This was especially challenging on the boat and truck where enemies are pathing on a moving platform.



[h2]Our First Cutscene[/h2]
We added our first cutscene to explain where the spores you are defending came from.



[h2]Dig Site Map[/h2]
We’ve replaced the Hangar map with a more story-focused Dig site since the spores do come from underground.



[h2]Updated Enemy Skins[/h2]
The flying Cowboy and axe throwing Caveman have been replaced with the Raccoon and Turtle respectively. All enemies now have an animal theme with matching armor for a more cohesive look.
