To opt into the beta:
1) Right click War on the Sea in your Steam library, go to properties/betas and you should have new tabs listing other available versions.
2) Password to access the beta is: warontheseabeta
Use the pulldown to select the beta version.
It should then begin to download.
3) When you run the game the version number should read this latest version.
GENERAL
Dogfight At Will Toggle added to ORDERS panel for aircraft
default/language/english/messagelog.txt added AutoDogfightOn, AutoDogfightOff and NoDogfight variables
default/language/english/dictionary/general.txt added AutoDogfight
When ON, any aircraft with forward firing guns will automatically engage enemy aircraft (detected or as detected)
Medium & Heavy Bombers (or aircraft without forward firing guns) cannot have Dogfight At Will set to ON (error log message displayed if attempted)
default.txt added new variables;
"autoDogfightDefaultOn":true - Dogfight at Will mode is on for all capable player aircraft at the start of combat
"autoDogfightFightersOnly":true - Dogfight at Will is On by default for fighters only (dive bombers and torpedo bombers will be OFF by default, heavy and medium bombers can never "dogfight")
Player Unit Roster tabs added icon for Fire At Will/Dogfight At Will to indicate if on/off for each player unit
default/interface/images/ui added icon_FireAtWill.png sprite
default/interface/styles.txt added UnitListFireAtWillIcon style
Using Fire At Will to commence shooting after initiating a RETREAT will cancel retreating
Fire at Will (default on) no longer applied to submarines at start of combat
When assigning an escort to attack a submarine, guns will only automatically fire if Fire At Will mode is enabled for that escort
Fire At Will mode no longer displays "no ammunition" messages
"Firing At Will" and "Stop" text on weapons panel now correctly use language Dictionary values
Action Report now supports over 10 ships on a side

Added "skyTextureColor":{"r":255,"g":255,"b":255,"a":255} variable to apply editable color tint to skyboxes
Modified all Night_X.txt environment files to re-balance and improve night lighting visuals
Weapon Mounts no longer lag if frame rate drops below interval for updating them
Re-exported Baltimore model to fix resting rotation of rear secondaries
Modified baltimore_model.txt secondary gun firing arcs
north_carolina and south dakota_data.txt files modified armor schemes
