Prison Renovation Update is Live! 🔨

[/p][p]Upcoming new hero DLC of Astral Ascent voiced by Ben Starr is offered for free to backers of our new game Kickstarter alongside a ton of unique elements like exclusive early access to build and more!

If you enjoyed Astral Ascent, I promise you will find again the same ingredients in a much more ambitious project and we are even very close to unlock a stretch goal for a Roguelike mode within the game and we are super hyped by that as you may imagine!

[/p][p]This update focuses on many QoL update asked by the community to make the game even better![/p][p]You can find the full patch note below:

1. [p]Reroll Telescope with Sun Pieces[/p][p]For those of you having a lot of Sun Pieces and wanting to optimize, you can now reroll the Telescope choices for Sun Pieces![/p][p][/p][p][/p]
2. [p]Imprints Rework[/p]
   • [p]You now find 3 imprints per room instead of 2[/p]
   • [p]Unselected Imprints will no longer be found at Andromeda's Bar[/p]
   • [p]When you pick a spell on ground, your imprint is kept[/p]
   • [p]Affinity to find the right imprints for your build has been greatly improved[/p][p][/p]
3. [p]New option[/p][p]It has been asked us a lot, so we added an option to be able to remove Dead Cells heads in the game for the Dead Cells weapons, we have added an option in the Gameplay section![/p][p][/p][p][/p]
4. [p]First spells improvements[/p][p]When you start a run you select your first aura and then you select your first Spell but this spell sometimes is now of the affinity that you want, now the 5 starting spells cover all affinities so you always have something to go with your build there![/p][p][/p][p]Additionally, the Telluric Ruins, the fourth room of your runs giving you an extra spell for free also sometimes did not have something to go with your build. Now all spells there are of a different affinity to cover all possibilities and when you reroll them it's extremely fast while before it was very slow.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
5. [p]Unlock Weapon Passives with Sun Pieces[/p][p]It has been required a lot by the community so we added it : you can now buy Weapon Passives with Sun Pieces, the prices are in 3 categories : [/p]
   • [p]1000 sun pieces for easy challenges[/p]
   • [p]3000 sun pieces for medium challenges[/p]
   • [p]5000 sun pieces for hard challenges[/p]
   [p]The idea is to keep unlocking with the condition as the main way of unlocking these passives but if you are struggling with somes you now have this option![/p][p][/p][p][/p]
6. [p]13 New Exploration Rooms[/p][p]We have added 13 new exploration rooms to make your runs vary a bit more. We have been working with community member Pac & community member Lightbringer for QA as they know the game very well (more than 1300 hours on the game combined) and we worked with Lightbringer to bring these new levels in the game!

7. [p]Increased movespeed[/p][p]We have increased base movespeed by nearly 20% making it smoother to explore the maps and runs overall faster

8. [p]Increased affinity system[/p][p]We know it can be frustration when you do not find the right elements to make your perfect build and we have increase the affinity system strength so you will be more likely to find elements of your current build![/p]

[p][/p][p][/p][p]We are working on a new DLC named the Celestial Haven and 100% of the benefits of this DLC will go to charity for Animals![/p][p]We will make this DLC not expensive so as many of you can take it and so we can all be donating a little to support real animals ːzagplsː[/p][p]You will have a new place in the hub with animals there![/p][p][/p][p]This new sanctuary is kept by a Yalee in a costume, and there is 5 companions : [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]they will have many different animations and also many different skins[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]You will of course be able to pet them and you can go with them during your runs![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]We are planning this update for the end of November, very soon![/p][p][/p][p]In the meantime, have fun in Astral Ascent, don't hesitate to visit and support our new game project to get the new hero DLC for free!
