Development Branch update - v1.402

Hello Terraformers!

We've just updated a new version (v1.402) on the development branch.
To try it, see the "How to switch branches?" question in the FAQ.

This version adds three new endings to humble and two biomes.

Let us know if you experience significant performances changes or new critical bugs.

As usual, restart Steam to get the update, and backup your save before trying the dev branch.
All players must have the same version to play co-op.
If you have issues launching the game, remove all your mods before reporting bugs.


Temporary changelog :

  • Humble : Added two new biomes(near the beach, still work in progress)
  • Humble : Added three possible endings to humble. Search the new biomes and wait for messages to experience it. (You'll need to reopen some robots of the world inventories to get the required items for one ending)
  • Humble : Added new lore texts on 7 robots
  • Fixed an issue with saves not properly regenerating procedural wrecks
  • Various fixes and modifications on new furniture
  • Added a graphics option to enable/disable GPU resident drawer and GPU occlusion culling at runtime (that could allow to improve performances on low end computers)
  • Various fixes in procudral wrecks and new rooms added
  • Various fixes to the environement on Prime and Humble
  • Improved light intensity in wrecks
  • Small performances improvements

Once again, the team at Miju Games is hard at work to deliver a new free update in the coming weeks!
This update will focus on decorations, quality of life and performances!

It will contain more than 25 new decorative elements for your base, the long awaited interior stairs, a lot of quality of life elements, improved procedural wrecks, planet Humble improvements and more!

Development Branch update - v1.401

Hello Terraformers!

We've just updated a new version (v1.401) on the development branch.

This version is a preview of the next free update that will revolve around decoration.

Let us know if you experience significant performances changes or new critical bugs.

As usual, restart Steam to get the update, and backup your save before trying the dev branch.

Temporary changelog :

  • Added 25 new furnitures. Explore procedural wrecks, deconstruct objects to get the recipe. (not all of them are available without creative mode yet.)
  • Added a new interior stair module
  • All furniture can now be placed even if colliding with something (it will be yellow if it's colliding, but you'll still be able to place it)
  • New button on beacons to enable/disable all of them
  • Fixed an issue when having lots of drones colliding with each other causing big slow-downs
  • GPU resident drawer enabled. It's a new feature of our engine that should improve performances
  • Buttons on machines are now animated when pressed
  • Improvements to the procedural wrecks generation, added new rooms and lowered complexity
  • Prevent falling through the floor when building floors tiles
  • Make multiple changes to avoid reported computer crashes
  • Modify the new logistic priority system to avoid breaking old saves (it now goes from -3 to 5)
  • Fixed an error with ore extractor 2 UI display
  • Fixed an issue with dust particles from the jetpack still emitting when entering the vehicle while flying
  • Multiple performances improvements
  • Various environment fixes on Prime & Humble

Development Branch update - v1.400

We've just updated a new version (v1.400) on the development branch.

This version focus on performances and improvements. It should improve performances and reduce crashes. This is in preparation for the next free update.

Let us know if you experience significant performances changes or new critical bugs.

Technical
  • Updated engine to Unity 6
  • Improved a lot of materials, animations and meshes performances (vegetals, insects, fish, minerals, VFX, etc...)
  • Added a new shader on Prime rocks to allows seamless color transitions
  • Improved Prime rocks collisions
  • Fixed multiple potential memory leaks


Game design
  • Increase range of optimizers
  • Cake can now be placed like effigies
  • Improved Drill 4 unit generation visibility
  • Added missing LOD in AmphibiansFarm, optimizer t2 and biolab
  • When building, big habitats modules are displayed further to ease the construction
  • Biolab now have arrows that indicates the front when building
  • Top of big habitat modules are now flat


UI
  • Improved UI of logistics
  • Items available for logistic selection will now appear if there is one in any container (even if not unlocked yet)
  • When selecting "supply all" in logistics UI, this will supply even things that are not yet unlocked
  • When ui filter chip is equipped, a new filter toggle box appears on the construction menu
  • Ore extractors now shows all minables ores even if there is no energy
  • For ice melting in world, change the terraformation value display to the end of melting, to avoid confusion
  • You can now click on a pinned recipe directly to remove it
  • Improves pinned chips UI

Humble DLC Patch #6 - Main branch

Hello Terraformers!

We've just uploaded a small patch on the main branch.
You need to restart Steam to get it.

For people playing multiplayer make sure everyone has the same version, if in doubt restart Steam.

This update improves collisions and fixes somes small bugs
