Devlog #1 - The Beginning

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to our first devlog. You have waited a long time for any news from the project and here it is. Ship Graveyard Simulator has been in production for short time and we are ready to show you some progress. It ain't much yet, but we assure you that everything is going in the right direction.

If you're reading this, you probably know exactly what the game is about. But if not, in short, there will be a lot of slicing, crushing and scrapping – which is everything what tigers like best. Also some economic stuffs such as selling scrap parts, looking for loot, exploring huge ships and much more πŸ˜ƒ

For today, we have prepared a short film summarizing our work so far. Some systems work, all of them require a lot of polishing and improving, but at least we can show you some of them.

So first and foremost: tools. As you can see in the video, we have 4 now. We are planning more of them and we also need to work more on the current ones.

Second, the economy systems are slowly starting to work: we have a shop where you can buy tools and a shop where you can sell scrap parts. And our handsome salesman who keeps an eye on goods πŸ˜‰

Third, our first ships: the first still needs improvements and polishing. The second, bigger one - we're working on it now. There isn't much content in there yet and still a lot of work - we'll show it later.

And here's the video:

Plans for the next month: first of all tool improvement. We will try to polish the animations and systems related to the current tools. At the same time - ships. Both ships require a lot of polishing and improvement, so now we'll try to focus on them. That's not all, there will also be smaller improvements, new systems and bug fixes - we'll show you the most interesting things in the next devlog.

That's all. Stay safe folks and stay tuned for the next devlog. Don’t forget to follow us on Steam. Oh, and if you have any questions - we'll be happy to answer them all. Good night.

Regards,
Ship Graveyard Simulator Team
