If you were playing the existing beta version, you can continue playing as is. However, for those who weren't, please note that saves are not compatible. Unlocked classes will be retained. Since many aspects have changed compared to Version 1, we recommend going through the tutorial again. We also recommend resetting your shortcuts by pressing the default shortcut button in the settings.

Demo Release / Key Changes in Version 2

Demo Version Release:

To encourage more players to try out Version 2, which will officially release on August 31, we are launching a demo version. In the demo, players can experience the first dungeon.

Key Changes in Version 2:
Difficulty Levels:
• Based on feedback that the game was too unreasonably difficult, we have adjusted the difficulty settings.
 • The former "Normal" and "Easy" modes are now "Veteran" and "Torment" with a new "Casual" mode added. In Casual mode, difficulty is reduced, and players can retry battles infinitely after a loss. Even in Veteran mode, players have three retries.
 • For those seeking more challenges, completing Torment mode unlocks a series of increasingly difficult "+ Modes," up to Torment 6, featuring penalties for allies or bonuses for enemies.
Gameplay Mechanics Changes:
• Class Balancing: To address the advantage of ranged units, the archer's dexterity damage bonus has been reduced, and mages now require more mana to cast spells. Tank units receive increased HP bonuses.
 • Removal of AP Bonus from AGI: The AP bonus was removed because it was too powerful.
 • Removal of Arrow Mechanics for Archers: Simplified due to player feedback on complexity and inconvenience.
 • Delayed Spells Replaced with Rage Spells: To make combat predictions less burdensome, delayed spells were removed and replaced with "Rage Spells," which activate when the rage gauge fills through taking damage or defeating enemies.
 • Battlefield Adjustments: Reduced the number of obstacles and traps on the battlefield, and allowed certain spells to pass through obstacles for a smoother gameplay experience.
New Game Modes and Special Events:
• Quest Mode: Added a mode where players can hire and train mercenaries while developing a village.
 • Abyss Gate Mode: Post-game content that offers endless battles for those who clear the main game.
 • Dungeon Enhancements: Dungeons now include random special events to add variety, such as rewarding rare weapons for meeting specific NPC conditions.
 • New Mercenary Traits: Mercenaries now have unique traits and flaws to add personality and strategic depth.
 • Expanded Starting Parties: Added new starting party options, including a Necromancer party that can summon undead units. Players can also now customize party leaders and members, and choose classes before starting.
Graphics Improvements:
• Enhanced background and water tiles.
 • Improved user interface.
 • Players can now customize the appearance of allied units at the start of the game.
New Dungeon Types and Classes:
• Added new dungeon environments, including snowfields and deserts, in addition to the existing ruins, riverside, catacombs, and forest.
 • Introduced new subclasses, such as Fire, Ice, and Thunder apprentices, along with other new classes.
