Terrordrome : Reign Of The Legends - 1.02 Patch Notes

Varies fixes to most Visual FX within Death Sentences, fix for Death Sentences causing soft locks and more.

Note : Publishing reviews talking about bugs without properly reporting them is bad matters, if you find a bug REPORT IT so we all benefit from the fix!!

[h3] Achievement Changes and Additions [/h3]

  1. Removed an exploit for the Combo Damage Achievement, if you have already unlocked this achievement than no issue. But if you want to reset this achievement in order to unlocked it the intended way you can follow these steps.

      Right Click the Start Button and Select Run

      Then type "steam://open/console" without quotes press enter. Within Steam you'll have a new Console tab.

      within the Steam Console paste this without the quotes "achievement_clear 1291170 COMBO_DAMAGE_50" then press enter.


  2. A new Achievement has been added to the game based off of a special win pose from the Lady In White



[h3] Changes / Fixes [/h3]



  1. The game no longer waits on the initial loading screen till your fully logged in, this login process in most cases finishes before reaching the Press Any Button Screen. This will improve loading when starting the game.

  2. Adjusted certain sounds on characters that may have been too loud, we're still investigating if more sounds need to be adjusted.

  3. Fixed an issue that wouldn't allow a character to drop to 0 health in certain Death Sentences.

  4. Fixed varies Visual FX that wasn't showing up properly on screen.

  5. Fixed an issue not allow Sasquatch to fully turn invisible when performing this move.

  6. Fixed an issue that would show Isadora for a few frames still she fully spawns from the Sky. (Dracula's Helper Call)

  7. When Guard All is set within Opponent options they will properly switch to crouch state when the player does a move while crouching.

  8. Fixed an issue on the Character move list that would sometimes cause the Kick button to be placed in the wrong order within certain Combo Strings.

  9. Reenabled Lady In White's Random Win Pose (Jump Scare).

  10. Fixed an issue that wouldn't switch to a crouch state when attempting to block a low attack when you have previously blocked a high/overhead attack.

  11. Fixed an issue causing Wendigo's EX Turn Pike to use two meter stocks while in the corner.

  12. Fixed an issue causing the health of both characters being reduced to 1 when Player 1 or Player 2 gauge fill within training mode was set to Normal mode.

  13. Fixed an issue that would reset the button press within the Jump or Crouch within Opponent options in Training mode.

  14. Adjusted the lighting and position for the selected character within the Online Lobby.



[h3] Localization Changes [/h3]



  1. Fixed an issue that wouldn't properly save the Selected Language within the game, you'll need to reselect your native language within the settings.

  2. Changed instances within certain language where Round is used and replaced with Chapter to match the announcers.

Terrordrome Reign of the Legends Development Update: November 2024

Hello everyone and welcome to the first development update since 1.0 release.
We have finally officially launched the game but this is only the beginning as we have lots if things to do to move forward and we're delighted to share our next steps with you today!

Beast Dracula Confirmed boss and playable character!

We can finally announce that yes the final boss will be a beastly version of Dracula which we have kept secret for a very long time, we can also confirm that he'll be joining the game along with the other 3 secret characters when we release the story mode which makes a roster of 16 by then!

Story Mode under pre-development.

The story has been fully written and we have laid out the fights within the game, we would like to go fully cinematic and we're looking at mocap options to make this a reality as well as looking for lip syncing tools to match the characters voices when they talk.
although we're planning to go this route, things may change but it's looking likely we will go this way as technology and tools have progressed immensely in the past few years and will only get better allowing indies like us to produce better looking content that our players deserve.


Costume DLC confirmed!

This is also something we have kept secret for a long time for almost 2 years as modelling is very time consuming and expensive but we can finally announce that yes every character will be getting an alt costume through paid DLC.
when designing what these costumes should be we decided that instead of them being the same character wearing something different like most fighting game alts, we took it upon ourselves to make these alts entirely new characters! (they'll share the same moveset as the character it's an alt for)
Doing this will help expand the Terrordrome Universe as well as add more archetypes requested by you guys to the game without spending so much time and money making every character playable with their own moves.
We cannot confirm if these DLC costumes will be for purchase separately or released in a costume pack as we need to work with our publisher in order to get the best outcome.
Unfortunately we cannot share any images of them...yet, as not all of them have been modelled yet but please stay tuned for more updates on these characters as we could show one off in Cy8ernet1c?! flare.

Terrordrome : Reign Of The Legends - Game Update 1.01

So as I've mentioned within our Discord and within the Community Hub here on Steam with all major updates to the game there will always be issues that need to be addressed.

Also bugs are always reported first on Discord so if you happen to post about an issue on the Community Hub there is a large chance I already know about it. So with that said if you want to be apart of the community join us on the Discord.

Due to the change in our current license change with Unity, we are now force to display the splash screen. By the next update this will be removed.

So with that said here is the patch notes for Game Update 1.01

Note : Any issues that may cause your game to freeze, lock up or crash could be due to corrupted files, Please verify your files before reporting issues. As this could most likely be the fix to this problem.

[h2] Bug Fixes [/h2]

  1. Fixed an issue that was causing the HUD to be disabled when entering the Tutorial Mode.

  2. Fixed an issue that was causing the Start Button on keyboard to not work. It's now possible to open input config with only just the keyboard (ESC for P1) (Keypad Minus for P2).

    Note : There is 4 types of Keyboards this being QWERTY, AZERTY, DVORAK and QWERTZ , I only have access to a QWERTY keyboard. So it's possible buttons that are listed within menu navigation will be wrong. Only way to fix this is to remap the button.

  3. Fixed an issue not allowing player 2's inputs to be configured within the settings menu.

  4. It's now possible to Replace the buttons that are assigned to the keyboard, but take note if a key your replacing is used on Player 2 this will need to be reassigned manually. Pads/FightSticks will continue to swap the inputs used.

  5. Fixed an issue with Opponent AI within training mode when set to a certain attack that would not reset to the next attack or have them stop attacking.

  6. Fixed an issue under certain circumstances that would cause an animation to be faster than it should be, this mainly effected Command Grabs.



[h2] Arcade Ladder Fixes [/h2]

  1. Fixed an issue not allowing Achievements to be unlocked after completing a character arcade ladder.

  2. Fixed an issue on varies character outros that didn't have text displaying.

  3. Mary's Outro now plays when you complete her arcade mode instead of her intro.


[h2] Localization Fixes [/h2]

  1. Japanese is now a support language within Arcade Ladder.

  2. Adjusted text to fix on screen for certain languages.

  3. Fixed an issue with Russian text being cut off within the main menu.

  4. Attempt to fix Russian text size in most Intro and Outros of Arcade Ladder.

  5. Attempt to fix default selected language when loading in to the main menu. If this is still happening a work around is by selecting your default language within Settings.


[h2] Character MoveSet Fixes [/h2]

  1. Readded a missing animations from Frankenstein's Move Set that was causing certain soft locks.

  2. Helsing can no longer be hit after confirming his Close Unleashed (Chupacabra Hug).

  3. Fixed an issue on invisible Man during his Close Unleashed (Say hello To my HUGE friend)

  4. Reduced the hit box size of Mr. Hyde's Air Punch, this fixes an unintended loop that lead to an infinite combo.

  5. Neverman can now perform his Jump Strong at any height within his jump arc.

  6. Fixed a Camera positioning issues with Wendigo's Close Unleashed (Cryogenic Slam) while near the stage wall.

Terrordrome : Reign Of The Legends 1.0 Release

We would like to first thank everyone that has been along for this whole dev cycle while we was in early access.

Also note there is still new content coming to the game sometime next year this includes are full story mode and 3 new playable characters within a FREE UPDATE. We also have some paid DLC in the works in the form of additional costumes more on this very soon.

So with all that said here are the patch notes for this new version of the game, granted there maybe some things in the update that are not listed here.

[h2] New Content [/h2]

1. Each character now has an Intro and Outro to the arcade ladder, Intros present the characters within your overall arcing story. While the Outros are a What If type scenario. When completing a characters arcade ladder you will now unlock an achievement for this character.

Note : More achievements will be added to the game in future updates

[h2] UI Changes/Fixes [/h2]

  1. Audio settings are now fully synced with the settings that are within the main menu.

  2. Input Config is now split between players, players can now independently config buttons on Keyboard or Pad/FightStick. You can also config your inputs at the character selection screen while in local verse mode by pressing the Start Button. (Keyboard P1 : ESC | Keyboard P2 : Keypad -)



[h2] Overall Gameplay Fixes/Changes [/h2]



  1. Now when put within a punished state your combo breaker is only locked for up to 10 seconds, this was a much needed change due to the nature of the combo system. Also while in a punished state your break meter won't rechange till the end of the 10 sec. Since doing this allows for more opportunities to bait your opponent in to doing a breaker that will likely be countered.

  2. Fixed unintended loops from jumping attacks, most air attacks have a reduced amount of hit stun.

  3. Fixed an issue where sometimes you may appear to be blocking a attack that's not even near you.

  4. Fixed issues where a combo breaker may not hit hit the opponent, all hit boxes for this move have been adjusted.

  5. On some characters to allow for a limited follow up the hit stun on certain combo strings is set up to be reduced on the next usage. For example Mary can now do P P K M Dash P P K M but can't do a second Dash. This allows for the follow up of P P K M Teleport to continue working.



[h2] Visual Changes [/h2]

  1. A new filter is applied to the game to give certain effects more glow (Bloom) and changes to the overall brightness of the game. Due to this change UI within gameplay has to remain above the player characters.

  2. Updated shaders on character faces this allowed for better detail on characters overall look.

  3. Our UI now supports up to 8 more languages these are as follow : Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Russian, French, Portuguese, German, Polish

  4. Better lighting with the character selection screen and VS screen, while also adding a P1 and P2 icon on the character selection cursor for better readability with brighter colors on the borders.

  5. Fixed varies parts of stages that was blocking gameplay, and also adjusted certain cinematic cameras to be adjusted away from the stage wall.

Terrordrome Reign of the Legends Development Update: August 2024

We are fingertips away from finishing game and it feels like a climbing a mountain!
We'd like to share the last steps we gotta do before 1.0 and it's not much so expect this update to be short!

Arcade Intros and outros

ARCADE STORIES ARE FINISHED!!
every character will now have an intro to their arcade story and an outro/ending, we're very excited what people think of what lore and endings we made for our characters the new NPCs shown with the story we're trying to tell as some are very important to this games universe.

So what do we have to do next?
The answer is not a lot! All we have to do now is implement the arcade stories into the game and add achievements and the game will be complete and it will likely be this month!
as to releasing the 1.0 version we will also have to make a trailer (Which is in development right now) and announce a release date, we have no info on the date we want to strive for right now but know...it's close!

This might be our last development update before 1.0 release so we would like to thank all of you so much for being with us through the hardest of times, we may not be development wizards that was able to fix every problem in a heartbeat but it was YOU who chose to stick along with us on this journey as this has been our first ever commercial game and we have learnt so much about the industry during these 6 years of working our butts off and it's thanks to you that we got there.
