VFX Settings Update



[h2]VFX Settings:[/h2]
Added more settings for muzzle flashes and bullet trails to make them less annoying for some users.

Now you can select the way YOU think it looks the best:
  • Muzzle flash: None, Small, Normal, Big (like it used to be).
  • Air Bullet Trails (Distortion): none, only in Slow Motion (looks great!) and always (like it used to be).
  • See a Bullet Tracer: always (like it used to be), only in slow motion and no traces at all.

Notice, muzzle flashes will get a big update during this year with different types according to gun you use.

[h2]Oculus Rift controlls update:[/h2]
Fixed stick movement issues on Touch controllers.

[h2]Other improvements:[/h2]
Fix: Elbows and arms disappearing sometimes.
Fix: In Tactic: Lock not putting the bullet inside during the Slow Motion.
Fix: In menu options shows YES instead of real options names.

Hard Bullet: Autumn Festival

[h2]Hard Bullet in Early Access this October![/h2]
Hard Bullet is a brutal physics sandbox VR game with realistic enemy interactions, gore and dismemberment, slow motion abilities, survival modes, lots of guns and cinematic environment destruction.

New Physics in Closed Beta

[h2]Physics and Bodies[/h2]

Reworked hand physics from the ground! Now you can grab everything in game and even use objects to fight enemies.

And yes, you can grab the enemies too!

This large update comes with enother improvenemt — complex dismemberment system for the enemies bodies and visible damage. Also, they recieve damage and spoil blood when you hit them.

Today we are adding this only for Closed Beta and plan to add new physics for regular Steam Demo during next week.

These large improvements took some time and sets a foundation for future inprovenemts. Now we can start adding all the awesome things we were working on during this large rework!

In the future updates, expect to see big improvements in AI, meele weapons and some cool gory things that we don't want to spoil yet.

  • You can take any object, the fingers should align the form of the object you are holding.
  • New gun drag system — now the guns should not stuck in the objects they were laying/hanging on.


[h2]Enemies[/h2]
  • New body weight so you can hold and through them,
  • New limbs weight and realistic physics reaction to bullet damage.
  • Complex dismemberment and visible bullet damage.


[h2]Sounds[/h2]
  • New Metall tracks made of the previuos ones.
  • New shotgun (win12) sounds
  • Added placeholder sounds for almost all objects.
  • Added enemies reaction to meele damage.

As we are working ono levels for the main game, we still a looking for the best solution for Demo scene level.
Now we reworked it again to reach more FPS.
