This includes the new Main Menu, Gamemode Selection menu, Profile and Customization menu, the new Lobby Settings menu, and the new Launcher Beta. [/p][p][/p][p]We are still working on overhauling the rest of the UI, including the Settings, the Map Browser and Picker, and the Tournament menu. While our current tutorials are linear and need to be completed in a certain order, we want to provide more choice in how you learn.[/p][p]Every beginner should have access to resources to learn at their own pace, with the difficulty scaling of their choosing. This is what we're aiming for.[/p][p]We missed something, or you just want to train for something very specific? Make your own tutorial, or browse tutorials from experienced pilots! More of everything![/p][p]But that's not all. We want to change some stuff about the Track Editor, to make it even easier to use, with added tutorials and best practise guidelines. We will introduce multiplayer map-making, so you can test and fly at the exact same time, or simply share in the joy of crafting a track. We're planning tools like freecam and annotation tools, to review your trajectories and flight data, so you know what to improve effectively.[/p][p]Now, you can export a video of your replay. We want to improve that experience, and let you share your replays more effectively, in EreaDrone or on social media. [p]Let's look back at what we've already done to improve the sim, as part of the Road to 1.0.[/p][h2][color]πŸ§‘β€πŸ”¬ Physics V2[/color][/h2][p][/p][p]We recently released our Physics V2 system, that improves the physics of every model in EreaDrone, greatly improving the feel. Alongside that, we updated our Drone Settings menu to make it as easy as possible to dial in all the settings exactly how you want them, by letting you fly directly in the menu and giving you key metrics.[/p][p][/p][p]Thank you for reading all that! Patch Notes - Improved Menus and more Tutorials

[h2]πŸ‘¨β€πŸ”§ Improved Lobby Settings Menu[/h2][p][/p][p]The new and improved Lobby Settings Menu is now available in-game! Now with icons and a more clear layout, you can check it out when flying. As added in previous updates, you can directly open that menu by pressing "S" at any time, and it now loads the map way faster than before![/p][h3]Settings are now saved[/h3][p]The menus now remembers the settings you used last time, separately for each Game Mode. If you often use the same settings, you will not have to dial in your settings again each time.[/p][p]The menu saves for each Game Mode: Lobby Settings and Drone Model.[/p][p]The menu saves for each Environment your selected Spawn Point.[/p][p][/p][h2]🎨 Updated Customisation Menu[/h2][p][/p][p]Mostly to prepare for the next update, we have updated the new Nameplate menu to include more than just the Pilot Banner and Title... [/p][p]Banners are now displayed as squares in the menu, to make it easier to browse them all. Also, all customisation items now have a rarity (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary) which for now does nothing. [/p][p]We have added 16 new tutorials maps, and improved the existing ones. We know our tutorials have been quite lacking, so we are finally addressing that. Patch Notes - New Beta Launcher and bug fixes

[p]Hi![/p][p]This is a small update to introduce the new launcher, now in Beta, and some bugfixes. This is part of the upcoming UI update![/p][p]Remember to sign up to the Challengers #2 - Boreas Race event on 31/01 ![/p][p][/p][h2]New EreaDrone Launcher beta[/h2][p][/p][p]Behold! This is the shiny new EreaDrone Launcher. Here, you will be able to find all the latest about EreaDrone, browse Maps, look for Events and much more! [/p][p]The idea is to be able to handle most tasks before even launching the game, except flying of course.[/p][p]If you simply want to get into the game as fast as possible, there is an option to skip the launcher.[/p][p]Due to the launcher changes, you will have to log in to your account again, sorry for that![/p][p]Tell us what you think in the Discord![/p][p][/p][h2]Line-of-sight & 3rd person flying[/h2][p]When flying, try pressing 'V'! (by default, this can be remapped)[/p][p]The game now switches from the traditional FPV to 3rd person view, or Line of Sight! This is great to practice flying without goggles, or simply try out the new mode.[/p][p][/p][h2]Improved UI[/h2][h3]Axes settings[/h3][p]The axis settings were moved from the popup (when clicking on the gear) directly to the Controls settings screen. This makes the menu more clear, and easier to use.[/p][h3][/h3][h3]Social menu moved to Profile screen[/h3][p]The social menu (where you can add and manage friends) was moved to the Profile screen. We also consolidated the Banner and Title menus into a single Nameplate menu where you can customize your profile! Expect some changes on that menu very soon.[/p][p][/p][h2]Bug fixes[/h2]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the Main Menu background displaying incorrectly when exiting from View Map mode or the Map Editor[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where pressing F12 would lock the camera in the Map Editor and the Map View Mode[/p]
  • [p]In the Map Editor checkpoint list, the checkpoint numbers are now displayed in monospace and will remain aligned for better readability[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where Triggers were not working in the Map Editor[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue in the Map Editor Fly mode where the drone could not be controlled[/p]
