Merry XMAS, Machizzle is now FREE!

This comes with a ‘final’ patch to address compatibility. We’ve tested with headset such as Meta Quest Pro, PICO 4 or Pimax Crystal, that were not available when we created the game and we specifically didn’t add bindings for them. It works with SteamVR Input 2.0 just fine, which means there should be compatibility even for upcoming headset. At last, we’ve removed the editor and community levels functionality, as the backend has been offline for some time now.

If you’re wondering why we did it. iNFINITE Production is a development studio and our primary revenue stream is from B2B collaborations, where we help companies incorporate XR technologies into their daily lives and workflows. Training, marketing, education, you name it. Check our portfolio! However, in order to keep our skills from falling behind, we keep 1/3 of time to work on our own ‘internal’ or R&D projects. Machizzle was one such project. While we believe we’re quite highly skilled at creating things (and you can check this claim right away, did I mention Machizzle is now free?), we are not so good at self-promotion*. This meant that Machizzle was enjoyed by far less people than would probably enjoy it, if they knew about the game. And by offering Machizzle for free, we hope to fix that.

* Being aware of that, we’ve hired a game marketing agency to help us with promotion. They ran away with our money, doing nothing to help the game and claiming they're "cannot guarantee the result". That probably made things even worse.

Patch 1.0.2

Hello Community
The first patch of Machizzle is now available fixing some of the problems we've noticed people are having during the launch weekend. Keep having fun!

Patch 1.0.2
- Fixed Music volume to reflect settings
- Fixed some achievements not registering properly
- Tutorial texts for original Vive controller are now bigger, which should result in improved readability on original Vive headset
- Added play button for community levels (Library). It's was not needed, as once you select level, all you needed to do was toggle menu and play. But also was not really explained.
- Update app Icon

Machizzle: Release Day Trailer

The day is finally upon us, Machizzle will be launching on January 7th, 2021 on Steam! Get ready to bend the laws of physics to solve mind breaking puzzles.

The game will be launching with all of these exciting features:

  • 80-level campaign: Follow the story of Rock and his loyal companion, Stone by solving a series of unique VR puzzles.
  • 10-15 hours average playtime: Take a dip into captivating gameplay that will test your puzzle-solving prowess!
  • 18 puzzle pieces: Throughout the campaign, the levels will introduce distinct puzzle pieces that can help you conquer each level.
  • Detailed level and puzzle creator: Spend time creating the most intricate VR puzzles and levels using the base materials the game already has. Players have complete access to power-ups, different blocks, and the freedom to challenge themselves and other players.
  • Players can share their creations online: Players can share and challenge each other through the puzzles they created.
