  • Added Continue button in the Main Menu which will load up the last saved game.
  • Added Waves and Team Deathmatch loading screens that explain the basic information about the gamemodes.
  • Players can now reload while aiming.
  • Improvements in Options menu:
    • Revamped Controls settings. The key binding option is now in a separate menu tab.
    • Added "Hold to aim" and "Hold to crouch" options.
    • Removed unused settings.
    • Restrict the FPS slider to 144 FPS (instead of 240).
  • Improvements for the Tesla Gates:
    • The code for the Tesla Gates has been reworked.
    • Optimized distance calculation of the player near the Tesla Gates.
    • D-Class and zombies can now be killed by the Tesla Gates.
    • SCP-049 can now get stunned by the Tesla Gates.
  • Fixes in Old Sewers:
    • Fixed some spawning points that caused NPCs to get stuck.
    • Fixed valve handle texture appearing gray instead of red.
    • Removed one of the pipes that was sticking into the wall.
  • In Waves gamemode, the last wave (aka Boss wave) now spawns infinite amount of enemies.
  • Loading screen images now scale according to the game's resolution.
  • Added few more restricted symbols for the save file names to prevent crashes.
  • Fixed elevators in SCP-939 basement and SCP-049 containment chamber not always working properly.
  • Fixed incorrect kill count in Waves gamemode.
  • Fixed Show FPS option description not appearing.
  • Fixed S-NAV Navigators not showing the map layout.
    • S-NAV 300 Navigator now shows low signal with ane effect instead of showing rooms that the player was in before.
  • Fixed floating buttons in room2_offices_4 and room2_servers_1.
  • An attempt to fix "Encryption Error" during connection to the server (thanks juanjp600!).
  • Fixed some other connection issues when player is connecting to the server.
  • Fixed resolution being too zoomed in on high DPI monitors.
  • Optimized few hallway rooms.
  • Removed lockroom_1 from spawning in Entrance Zone.

Thank you everyone for your bug reports! We made an attempt to fix most critical issues.

-Fixed "Catastrophic error" crash at game's launch due to resolution selection.
-Fixed a bug where some people couldn't press some of the buttons in the main menu or settings.
-Fixed NPCs in Waves gamemode not following anyone else, but host.
-Fixed dead NPCs sliding in Waves mode.
-Fixed NPC crash in Waves when NPC falls down and gets removed by the game.
-Fixed the issue with team switching in Team Deathmatch mode.
-Fixed a crash that occurred in Light Containment Zone.
-Fixed SCP-966 not rendering even when Night-Vision Goggles are on.
-Fixed SCP-173's being way too fast.
-Fixed reserved weapon ammo not saving after dropping the weapon from inventory and picking it back up.
-Fixed message display for some items.
-Fixed arrows for page navigation not drawing in the server list.
-Fixed error message not showing full information about the cause of error.
-You can no longer equip the gasmask if you already have one.
-You now press the interact key for getting the drawing from SCP-1048.
-Slight fix for aim offset of M9 Beretta.

It's out!

The time has come! SCP: Nine-Tailed Fox is finally available on Steam for free! It took us a bit longer that we thought, but that's something that is usual to huge game mods ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The progress went really far compared to how the mod looked in 2015, as originally it was just a small gun addition to SCP - Containment Breach!

We want to thank everyone for support, ideas and testing of the game!



Meanwhile we also want to point out that this is not the final version of the game! There are some bugs still in the game that you might encounter.

The game freezes at loading screen when I started a new game!
This can happen due to some issues in the map generation, causing the game to get into infinite loop. The solution for this is to try another map seed, while reporting to us the bugged seed.

I roamed the whole facility! Is there a way to finish the game?
Currently there are no endings in the game. However this is for sure planned for the future!

Some players are invisible in the Multiplayer!
This issue is currently investigated

Some events in Singleplayer are broken!
We are currently working on updates to fix this issues
