Patch 0.7.1.4

This is a hotfix patch.

Bugfixes:
  • Event trigger positions in Level 1-2 and 1-3 fixed.
  • Visual effects shown in unwanted situations have been removed.
  • A wrong HUD info in some situations has been fixed.

Warlords!


we used the summer break to work on the upcoming island "The Eternal Ice" and further content. In the meantime we also did some improvements and bugfixing on the current version.
Many of the "Dark Woods" level have been reworked. Coasts are now included, giving the island world of Mantari more authenticity.

What can you expect in the upcoming content update (version 0.8.0)? A lot of cool stuff!

[h2]Generally:[/h2]
  • we will introduce another strategic element. Elevations will now play a more important role. Units on higher positions will be granted more bonuses
  • attack animations are coming! Last but not least, we will implement the highly anticipated attack animations
  • a completely reworked army management screen
  • and much more...

[h2]New island "The Eternal Ice":[/h2]
A new island with 9 levels set in a landscape completely covered with snow and ice. New enemies, new landscape, new events, new hero units and the already expected level 3 units from Aglovan and the AI. The level 3 units also come with their own special abilities and add further strategic depth to the game.

[h2]The Road Ahead:[/h2]
What can you expect after version 0.8.0? Even more cool stuff!
  • in the background we are also working on the next hero "Warlord Gormur". He will soon land on Mantaria with his strong infantry and flight units in version 0.9.0.
  • introducing POI's. Many new level related buildings that give different kind of bonuses
  • revision of the damage calculation (we are working on a better and more balanced system)

Update Version 0.7.1.3

Quality of Life Improvements:
  • Cycling through available units will now only show units that can still move or attack.
  • A tooltip will show the reason if buying or restocking units is not possible.
  • Some sounds have been cut to reduce waiting times.
  • The safe zone in level 1-3 is now visible.


Balancing:
  • Some maps have been reworked... Coasts!
  • Damage caused by natural events has been adjusted.
  • Chances of natural events hitting units has been adjusted.


Bugfixes:
  • The special ability "Bull's Eye" will now act as expected.
  • NPCs spawned next to ruins will now have a behaviour attached.
  • When a unit moves into a storm, it will be nerfed instantly.
  • Newly spawned enemy units will now remain known by the player.
  • Fixed the intro text of level 1-3.


Behined the scenes:
  • We made great progress on the next island. Keep an eye open for the next updates!
  • The underlying render pipeline has been changed which will give us the ability to add more visual effects more frequently.

Patch 0.7.1.2

Quality of Life Improvements:
  • Tweaked some visual effects.
  • Added a missing voice over.
  • Texts will scroll a bit faster now.
  • If you click the "end turn" button when there are still actions available for you, a confirmation dialog will be displayed.
  • Some UI buttons that require interaction will now flash more obviously to make you aware of the necessary action.



Balancing:
  • Added the ability to activate multiple Special Abilities at the same time. ATTENTION: Loaded ingame savegames that were saved with an older version will have all special abilities reset after loading.



Bugfixes:
  • Fixed a major bug with Fog of War.
  • Fixed some UI elements blocking player interaction with the world.
  • Counter attacks of ranged fighters will now show projectiles
  • Fixed some issues with audio.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented unit info from being updated.
  • Fixed some texts.
  • Fixed some UI buttons that could still be interactable when they should not.
