After years of development, countless late nights, and more cups of coffee than we can count — Shields of Loyalty will finally release tomorrow, 12th August, at 6 PM CEST in its full 1.0 glory![/p][p]For an indie studio like ours, this is more than just a release. It’s the realisation of a dream we’ve been chasing through determination, passion, and the belief that we could bring a truly special strategy game to life.[/p][p]This journey has been intense — from our earliest prototypes to standing at Gamescom to proudly show your game to the world. And it’s only possible because of you — our community, fellow gamers, and friends who have supported us through every step.[/p][p]🎯 Your feedback matters more than you know — bug reports, suggestions, and honest impressions are what help us shape the game into the best version it can be. [p]🔥 Karnoth, the Bull of the Barren Wrath[/p][p]Avatar of the Warlord Faction[/p]

[p]“Steel may bend, but fury never breaks.” — Karnoth[/p]

[p]In the scarred and sun-cracked lands now called the Barren Wrath, there was once a fertile valley where warriors of old trained endlessly in the art of war. That valley became a grave of empires when a forgotten catastrophe — a ritual of blood and conquest gone wrong — shattered the skies and scorched the earth.[/p][p]From this devastation rose Karnoth, the first and last of his kind.[/p][p]
Forged not born, Karnoth was shaped by a godless war-prayer echoing through the bones of the land. He emerged from a fusion of beast and fury, summoned by the dying breath of the Warlord who had led the doomed ritual. His form was that of a towering bull-man: horned, monstrous, and divine in his wrath. His sword was carved from the molten spine of the last mountain god, and his shield still bears the mark of his progenitor's blood-seal.[/p][p][/p][p]Though Karnoth was born of failure, he became the Warlord Faction's symbol of defiance — a living siege engine, a force of primal strength and unyielding command. His lair remains the lower canyon of the Barren Wrath, a cracked land where nothing grows, but where war still echoes.[/p][p]Now, Karnoth leads the Warlords not just as a commander, but as their Avatar — the embodiment of unbroken dominance. The fortress that towers over the broken valley was raised under his command, each building a symbol of survival through might. Under Karnoth’s banner, legions of infantry march with brutal discipline, for he teaches that tactics mean nothing if not backed by raw force.[/p][p] [/p][p]His arrival on the battlefield shifts the very ground, crashing into enemy lines with unstoppable mass. When he charges, mountains remember their scars.[/p][p]He is not worshipped. He is obeyed.

Ruins, towns, and castles provide defensive bonuses. Beware though — siege units deal extra damage to enemies inside these fortified tiles.[/p][p]⚡ Weather Isn’t Just Cosmetic Lightning strikes, fire, and ice rain change battlefield conditions. They can hinder movement, reduce visibility, or even damage units — plan ahead![/p][p]🧭 Choke Points and Flanks
Use bridges and narrow valleys to control enemy movement. Place durable infantry to block — then send fast units around the side for devastating flanks.[/p][p]🧱 Height = Advantage
