Today, we’d like to go into more detail about the traffic in Truck World: Australia. In many games, traffic often causes issues, either creating accidents or moving too slowly. We aim to make traffic realistic and predictable, so that if players follow the rules of the road, they won’t get into accidents.

Let’s take a look at what our traffic AI can already do:

[h3]Realistic Speed:[/h3] Cars travel at the maximum permitted speed, so you won’t need to overtake every single one of them in your loaded truck—because that just wouldn’t feel natural.





[h3]Reaction to Player Mistake:[/h3] Even if a player breaks the rules and doesn’t yield to other cars, the AI tries to brake and avoid a collision. Our cars won’t go kamikaze!





[h3]Priority on Main Roads:[/h3] AI vehicles always give priority to the player if they are on the main road, even if the player is just approaching the intersection.

Hello truckers!

You may have noticed that traffic has appeared on the roads. We're actively working on its development, aiming to make it fast and realistic. We'll share more details about it soon.

Additionally, a new user interface is on the way. The current interface is a temporary solution, and it's our next priority task.

We are excited to announce that after break, the development of our game is in full swing.
Some of you may have already noticed the new game description and updated art on our Steam page. This is part of the resumed development process: we've outlined the main mechanics we plan to implement, as well as the amount of content that will be available at launch.

[h2]Our Plans for Content and Features in the Game: A Brief Overview[/h2]

• Diverse Range of Trucks: Over 4 models with different characteristics, from outdated to modern.
  
• Variety of Cargo: More than 5 types of trailers and various kinds of cargo.
  
• Cabin Exit Feature: Get out of the truck for various tasks with the truck and cargo handling, similar to Driving School.
  
• Road Events: Various scenarios requiring your participation, such as delivering cargo to a collapsed bridge.
  
• Truck and Trailer Upgrades: Ability to upgrade your trucks and trailers. And much more.
  

[h2]What We're Working on Right Now:[/h2]
We focused on creating and improving the physics of trucks and off-road conditions, as driving is the core aspect of the game. We shot a short video demonstrating how the off-road experience currently works. Check it out!

Additionally, we are creating the first missions for the upcoming demo. You will have to communicate with the operator via the truck's built-in radio and deliver essential cargo.
