Update for May 8

Hey everyone!

We've been pretty busy with the game last months and are currently working on a first content update: Tech Tree!

Also we spend some good time analysing and preparing our game for a road to the full release. As a lot of you experience bad performance in big cities, we are working on fixings that too. After analysing our game code we found all problem places, we fixed some of them but full optimisation will take a while.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and bugs, this will help us to improve the game and to address all of this we extended our team a bit to ramp up our production.

Also we are introducing beta branch on Steam. New updates will be first published there and after a while on the main branch.
You can find the new branch by clicking on Becastled in your Steam library and then select Properties -> Betas -> Select "beta" from drop-down.

Current patch contains:
  • some optimisations, depending on your city size game might run better for you. Particularly walls are now being drawn very fast
  • also we fixed one of the main problems with workers losing their jobs, and we will improve workers assignment even better with next patch
  • new day short theme
  • some small bugs where also fixed
  • 3 new languages: Vietnamese, Bulgarian, Filipino

This year we are planning to release 3 updates each focused on it's own theme!

Hotfixes for Mar 5

- farmer and miller movement fixed (no more walks on walls)
- manual worker assignment fixed (when selected worker was not able to reach building)
- lumberjacks breaking game during tutorial sometimes fixed
- skip tutorial button fixed
- no UI at game over bug fixed

Hotfixes for Feb 26

- Workers not being able to find their job - fixed
- Holes from removed gates - fixed
- enemies randomly freezing - fixed
- The game breaking when you Save / Load - fixed
- Thai language - added
- siege towers and ladders spawn fix, now they can be seen more frequently in the game.
- gate placement bug - fixed
- button for selecting all units - added (community suggestion) ^^
- Rally point after spawning from the church - added (community suggestion) ^^
- archers getting stuck in towers - fixed

Also, we are working on making enemy AI’s better! (they will not go into maze tactics)
