Hello Everyone . Before we talk about the updates we wish you all a very happy and prosperous year ahead.

Our game Destructive Contraptions should have been released on December 2021 but delayed was made due to significant changes to how we are releasing the game.

Over the last few months we had some changes in the game development studio. Some people left , some people came. In short the game was stuck in development hell in 2021 but we picked up development twice as fast during the last quarter of 2021 and things seem to go smoothly now. We know it has been a long wait for you all.

The release of the game was supposed to happen in Jan 19th 2022. However we are asking one more month to finish the art mostly. So we are Shifting our release date to JULY 2022. Exact date we will announced later. But we are confident that we will release this game by July 2022.

NOTE:- HOWEVER KEEP IN MIND THAT SOME OF THE PROPS SHOWN HERE ARE PLACEHOLDERS AND PROTOTYPE ART WHICH WILL BE REPLACED IN THE FINAL BUILD.







We will be posting new updates about all the props and features you can play with that we have already implemented over the months.

A Discord server is already on works. The link to it will be updated in a few days.

YES, we are still working on this game actively. Before we go into details we would like to say Thank You for your constant support and interest in this project.

Now coming back to the real question - Why we did not post any updates in months and kept radio silence. During the last 4 months I rewrote a huge chunk of the codebase from scratch so that our future updates were easy to implement. Features like Saving entire maps, Custom Input Mapping , Undo and Redo System ,Workshop integration will be much easier to implement since the new codebase is much more modular and efficient than before.

Release Date
Coming back to the release date - I am working on the art now . The Alpha version 1.0 is planned to be released by end of July 2022.

In the coming days and weeks I will be posting more updates from the game with screenshots and videos.
