0.4.023 - balance changes.

This patch mostly makes first enemies of ACT 2 weaker and buffs underperforming cards.

General
  • The amount of additional Skulls received in boss fights increased 150 --- 200.
  • The amount of gold required to unlock Enclave covenant reduced 555 --- 500.
  • Noma’s starting gold increased 40 --- 50.
Cards
Item cards
  • Acid now unlocks in the first pack of the Cult Covenant.

Common
  • Consume now can be found without opening the first pack in the Cult Covenant.
  • Consume quality changed Common --- Rare.
  • Consume/Consume+ healing reduced 3 --- 2.

Legendary
  • Blast Wave/Blast Wave+ burning applied increased 5 --- 6.
  • Holy Fire/Holy Fire+ damage increased 5 --- 6.
  • Giant Boulder/Giant Boulder+ mana cost reduced 1 --- 0.
  • Purveyance/Purveyance+ - now also have a Draw (2) component.
Trinkets
Common
  • Shooting cards now actually hit random targets and can not be caught by Defenders.
Talents
  • Hidden cache now drops random Item card instead of random Attack card.
  • Fearsome Weakness debuff now applied only to the enemies.
Enemies
ACT 1
  • Hard Die (boss) armor reduced 35 --- 25.

ACT 2
  • Gold Addict health reduced 20 --- 16.
  • Gold Addict attack damage reduced 8 --- 7.
  • Gold Addict gold steal reduced 7 --- 5.
  • Angel Beast health reduced 24 --- 20.
  • Angel Beast armor reduced 20 --- 15.

ACT 3
  • Shackled Soul health reduced 31 --- 29.
Random Events
ACT 1
  • Gambling Bloodsuckers HP lost reduced 4 --- 3.
Fixed mistakes
  • Fixed wrong description of Focused Will+ card.
  • Fixed wrong in-game description of Flurry-Focused Blast variation.

We are glad to announce that H.E.L.L. Shuffle early access is now live!
Thanks to everyone who made this possible, to everyone who played on the closed beta, and gave us generous feedback.

The game will definitely be changing over the time of the EA. We will be gathering your feedback to keep making the game better and better.
Right now we already have a forecast for future development. Although it's not scheduled yet - it shows our course.
Our first focus will be bugs, overall Quality of Life changes, story, gameplay/balance changes, and steam achievements followed by multiple game difficulties.



We will work hard to bring all of it to you as soon as possible. As for now - good luck with building your best deck and slaying enemies with it!

H.E.L.L Shuffle beta test! (Ended)



Hi everyone!

While Hell Shuffle is in the polishing state preparing for Early Access, we need your help and feedback about core gameplay right now as never before. That's why we decided to use the Steam Playtest feature. All you need to participate is to press the Request Access button on the game’s store page. After it is done you will receive an email notification that you are in, additionally Hell Shuffle Playtest game will appear in your library. Playtest works as a random distribution between participants but we will try to fit as many of you as we can.

The game is missing many crucial features at the moment, and we work hard to complete them: sound, story, art finalization, etc. So be ready to bump into temporary art, spelling mistakes, missing settings, and absence of tutorial.
We can’t wait to show you Hell Shuffle, to hear what you liked and what you did not.

If you want to leave us some feedback - use a link from the game's Main Menu. There is a short form with a couple of questions in it.

H.E.L.L Shuffle: Introducing Covenants!

[h2]New Feature - Covenants![/h2]

Play and gather Skulls from the fallen enemies. Use Skulls to prove yourself worthy to one of the three factions: cold and cruel combatants Northstar, wealthy mega-corporates Enclave, or outlaw experimenters Cult. All of them will provide you with perks to increase your power every run. Only one faction will support you at a time.



Each Covenant provides you with:
  • Skill card which can be modified in six different combinations.
  • A unique set of perks with different playstyles.
  • A set of new cards, talents, elite units, and trinkets available for all factions.

Content and balance
  • 5 new cards.
  • 1 new elite ally.
  • 3 new trinkets.
  • 2 new enemies for Act 3.
  • 7 new events with 5 unique event cards.
  • Most of the legendary cards, trinkets, and talents are much stronger now.
  • Gold gained from all the sources decreased by `30%.
  • Trinkets are harder to get now.
  • Act 1 shop can not contain legendary trinket now.
Visual
  • In-battle UI was updated.
  • Blur effect was added.
  • Many enemies received new artwork.
Fixes:
  • Ankh trinket now works properly.
  • Fixed situation when the player could not play cards at the start of the battle until they do not use a hotkey.
  • Many descriptions and tooltip fixes.
Known issues
  • Z-fighting cards are still there.
  • Tooltips in a Covenant tab might not be visible until you finish a game.
