Dev Update: Controller Support + Future Updates
[p]Hey everyone! We hope you’ve had a great start to the new year and managed to get some time off over the holidays, whether that meant catching up with friends and family or getting lost in a few great games. Now that things are ramping back up, we wanted to share a quick update on how development’s going and what we’ve got planned for 2026.[/p][p][/p][h2]Addressing Your Feedback[/h2][p]Over the holidays, we spotted a few bugs that were impacting gameplay for some players. Right now, our main focus is going through feedback from Steam, Discord, and official bug reports to track down and fix the most pressing issues. We released a patch last week that resolved the black screen and freezing problems when entering caves, and we’re continuing to make improvements across the game based on what you’ve been reporting.

Full Controller + Steam Deck support is coming early this year! This has been a huge feature for us, and while our small team has been working on it for a long time, getting it to the level we wanted proved to be a big challenge. To make sure it’s done right, we brought in an external team of controller specialists, and they’ve been doing an incredible job helping us refine and finalize the system. We’re really excited to finally be able to share this with you soon, and we can’t wait for you to get your hands on it.[/p][p][/p][p]![]()
[/p][h2]Future Updates[/h2][p]We’re not stopping at 1.0 - 2026 is shaping up to be another big year for Len’s Island. While we can’t share everything just yet, we’re actively working on the next major content update, alongside the release of full controller support.
