The Turtle Update v1.1.0

[p]Hello there![/p][p]
Here’s another update, bringing the game to version 1.1.0! This one focuses mainly on 🐢 turtle stuff and adds a small new level:[/p]
  • [p]Eïko (the main character) now has a little surfing animation when the turtle moves at medium speed. At high speed, he still crouches as before.[/p]
  • [p]The turtle can now perform a little trick while jumping! Just press the jump button again during the leap and enjoy. It has no gameplay purpose—it's just for fun 😄.[/p]
  • [p]A new collectible item has been added: the compass! When using the turtle, it displays a UI showing the cardinal directions. This should help you choose a global direction on the map and stick to it without constantly checking.[/p]

  • [p]And this new item is hidden in a small, optional new area: the Pirate Base. You'll have to look for it across the ocean. It might be a bit tedious to find if you already finished the main quest, but it should be easy to stumble across while exploring if you're discovering the game.[/p]

Music! v1.0.48

Hello!

Another little update! So what's new this time?
  • 2 new music/soundtracks for the prison level and the penthouse. I've been told my game misses a few soundtracks so I started to work on new ones.
  • quick fix : master josh was still visible on the bo dojo map after disappearing

Update v1.0.47

Hello,

Here's another quick patch:
  • Fix a possible death loop in water dungeon on breakable blocks
  • At the end of the Clandestine Factory (desert tower), better show the chest with the magnetic bow upgrade
  • Add help to move in the credits
  • The name of the dog is now displayed in blue for better readability
  • Add a little humorous help sign near the weight switch in desert tower
  • the entrance of desert tower in now breakable/explodable from both sides in case you forget to explode it from the inside
  • Buying items in the shop (bombs, apples, arrow) is now much faster. You still have to press the button 20x if you want 20 bombs, but it's way more fun and reactive.
  • Fix a possible soft lock when getting out of Kisugi Tower by the bottom lift.
  • Added Carlos Benedito as a proof reader for Spanish in the credits, thanks a lot for your time and expertise Carlos!.

By the way, I also take the chance to list and thank all the translators of the game who did an amazing job:
  • English: Anneline Fontmarty
  • Spanish : my dad Francis Fontmarty
  • Portuguese from Brazil: Rinaldo Alípio Bueno who also made A TON of feedback as a beta tester and who achieved to complete 100% when the game was still broken and missed a few detectors. Crazy job there my friend.

So thank you very much to this kind people, and thanks to you too, dear readers and players, for giving me the amazing feedback and reporting bugs after launch, this helps me to fix the game as soon as possible.

Revelation Melody - Update v1.0.46

[p]Hello there,[/p][p][/p][p]As promised, I've been working on a new mechanics to help you find these last missing items/animals/flowers. Some of them can be pretty hard to find (yes, I'm looking at you Prison levels), so here it is! From now on (v1.0.46):[/p]
  • [p]There's a new very expensive melody sheet you can buy at Aqualums Painting shop[/p]
  • [p]Each time you play this "Revelation Melody", light rays will appear around animals, flowers, chests, paintings and a few key items too. This will only work 30 seconds in the local/current level.[/p]
[p]Here's how it looks like:[/p][p][/p][p]Guess what? It also works on sea creatures:[/p][p][/p][p]I hope this will help you! So why a buyable melody?[/p][p]1 - So that you can choose to use it or not (it's not a passive skill), and it relies on an already existing mechanics. Plus, I initially planned to add a 4th melody that I removed because I couldn't find a nice fit. Now we're talking! And I'm pretty sure some of you would still like to go hardcore with no hints. It's up to you 😊[/p][p]2 - Now the big money you have in the end game will be of some use. Of course, given it's pretty expensive, you won't be able to afford it before approaching the 100%, but that's when it's gonna be the most useful.[/p][p][/p][p]Anyways, if you've already reached the 100%, your completion rate will go down to 99% in your save slot (because of the missing new melody sheet). But you'll keep your 100% Steam achievement.[/p][p][/p][p]By the way, I improved the computation of the completion rate because flowers were getting all the attention (given there are more than 600...).
