Hexarchy Alpha Update 0.372

[h2]New Leader Portraits[/h2]
  • Replaced perhaps our most egregious pieces of placeholder art with original professional portraits that are quite fetching
  • This is part of the increased diversity between civs that is coming in future updates


[h2]Bug Fixes and Minor Improvements[/h2]
  • Fixed issues that could occur when you pillage one of your own cities
  • Added an on-mouseover popup for the glowing red resource icons that mean you have unpaid maintenance on a hex
  • Invalid order error message improvements
  • Removed the war status icons since you're always at war

  • What they lack in detail they make up for in stylistic consistency with the terrain


[h2]Player elimination[/h2]
  • Can now eliminate enemy players from the game by capturing or razing all their cities
  • Can win the game by eliminating all enemy players
  • Added new daily challenge objectives for eliminating enemies


[h2]UI Updates[/h2]
  • When units or cities require additional gold for maintenance a red path will blink showing the maintenance path
  • Added floating text when promotions or other buffs are applied to units
  • "We love you" bonuses on a city now show as hearts instead of stars and don't show on enemy cities


[h2]Misc[/h2]
  • Bot nerfed in tutorial
  • Improved bot order generation performance
  • Added new music tracks
  • Several bug fixes

Hexarchy Alpha Update 0.357

Bug Fixes and Minor Improvements
  • Now works correctly on M1 Macs
  • Fixed a problem where it would let you play Infrastructure when you couldn't
  • Can now select a target hex near the bottom of a screen when playing a card
  • Should no longer be easy to accidentally play cards when trying to destroy them
  • Improved analytics and error collection
  • Many other minor fixes


Known Bugs
  • Cannot start a manually created multiplayer game. Can still use the "Find Game" option to use matchmaking
