POSTAL Brain Damaged News

As it was foretold so it has happened! The gates to Steam Workshop have opened to all of you and we can't wait to see the tide of your creations crashing through the internet. Last time we gave you a glimpse of what your mates from the beta had cooked up and we have promised to give you a full rundown of the changes between this version and the beta.

Changes from the be open beta:

• Added the ability to capture and upload Workshop Item Thumbnail
  
• Added placeable light sources
  
• Added invisible trigger walls
  
• Improved the tutorial, adding explanation to some elements that were unclear for the players before
  
• Fixed issues where players sometimes encountered a black screen when playing a published mod or after resetting a scene in editor.
  
• Fixed issue where Grid was visible during Play Mode
  
• Fixed a bug where player sometimes couldn't select any objects after deleting an asset from the map
  
• Fixed the issue where player couldn't switch their weapons when playing on a published Map
  
• Fixed issue with ammo being picked up but not actually adding bullets
  
• Fixed issue with grouped assets rotating incorrectly - now they all rotate in the same direction while being grouped
  
• Fixed issue with the new game version was darker than the default one without Mods
  

Some of you now might be thinking... "Man, what about my suggestions?. Why aren't they in the patch notes?"

[h3]Before you gonna call the police on us, let you provide you with a reasonable explanation:[/h3]

Some stuff is harder to implement than we thought and it is going to need more time in the good old development oven. We will be supporting the Workshop for over a year's time, but as to the exact scope and timeline - there ain't one yet. However, there is one thing that could speed things up a bit - your feedback. Keep us in the loop on our Discord about what you like and what you would like to see more of in the future regarding Steam Workshop!
