Animaze v 1.26.11906 - February 2nd update


Hello animazing folks,

We've been cooking and brewing some cool stuff for all of you.

Change log:
  • added VMC Protocol based full body tracker.
    You can find a guide here: https://www.animaze.us/manual/vmc-guide
  • added Background Texturing customization. Available on Scenes/Backgrounds that have 3D objects like the Rainbow LED Scene.
  • fixed an issue with Mouse & Keyboard Override prop when scaling or scale resetting
  • Ultraleap, Axis Perception Neuron, Sony Mocopi and VMC data will now be transmitted in Rooms
  • tweaks and fixes to Quickscenes

    • removed preloading if no avatar/background is needed
    • added some missed resources to preloading
    • fixed crash that occurred when switching between Quickscenes which contained avatars or props with texture customization active

Animaze v1.26.11886 - February update

Hello animazing folks,

We appreciate the feedback we received from YOU, our community.
So we've updated Animaze with a few tweaks and fixes.
Check them out here:

  • fixed issue with generic idles which disabled head and body tracking (fixed for VRM and RPM avatars only)
  • added in-app additional info and visual cues (including usage tips and quirks) for owners of Animaze Plus/Pro DLCs
  • Animaze Rooms improvements:
    • fixed issue with iPhone Tracker (ARKit) Direct Expression Mapping that applied on all joining avatars
    • added option to use local client Overrides on all joining avatars (Profile > Rooms Profile Options > Use local Overrides on joining Avatars). This enables local user to make all joining avatars look at the current render camera and other effects.
    • camera positioning will not reset when a new avatar joins the room if the avatar or camera have been moved.
    • other placement tweaks.

  • added two new options to Axis Perception Neuron retargeting
    • fixed hip bone - avatar doesn’t move around the scene, stays in a fixed position
    • upper body only - Axis is retargeted only on the upper part of the avatar, the lower part will display the current idle.

  • fixed an issue with retexturing using an image file with the a name that is already used
  • fixed shadows rendering issues on skin-like surfaces
  • added camera FOV controls. FOV value is also saved in Quickscenes.

Animaze v. 1.26.11853 - Sony Mocopi Integration - January Update

Greetings and Happy New Year!

We’ve prepared a nice small January Update with a few goodies to help you with vtubing at the start of this year:
  • we’ve added Sony Mocopi full body tracking that works out of the box with humanoid Animaze originals (including Personas), VRM and ReadyPlayerMe models.
  • we’ve added a Broadcast to Spout2 function on the three-dots menu of the Enable Virtual Camera, you don’t need to use the Dedicated Capture Window anymore just to use the Spout2 function.
  • we’ve removed the Shop from the Voice Effects gallery, which effectively removes the Voice Skins Alisha and Daniel from sale. Users that have already purchased the Voice Skins will be able to use them without restrictions.
  • we’ve added the one-time-payment option to the Upgrade Menu.
  • various fixes and improvements, including the issue with saving and loading forced symmetry options (the ones from Overrides tab).
  • we’ve updated the Animaze Editor to the latest engine code, getting a cumulative 3 months worth of improvements and minor bug fixes.

Animaze December fixes and tweaks

We've deployed a small series of patches for the past few weeks to optimize the embodiment and vtubing experience. The app version is now 1.26.11830. Here are the patch notes:
  • fixed issues with 2D backgrounds that occur on some AMD cards with particular drivers
  • fixed issues with light projectors that occur on AMD cards
  • added tongue out on the Stream Deck special poses mapping. The Animaze Stream Deck plugin has also been updated, either update it through the Stream Deck Store or download it from here.
  • added Head & Body tracking configs for iPhone Tracker with Direct Expression Mapping enabled
  • several fixes and tweaks to the advanced tracking configs when iPhone Tracker is active
  • fixed a memory leak that occurs in some situations when closing the webcam feed while the iPhone Tracker is active
