Myth of Empires – Behind the Scenes – Soundtrack

As the gaming industry has matured and games have become more cinematic, music has likewise become a critical part of the gaming experience.

The second video in our Behind the Scenes series takes a look at how the music for Myth of Empires was produced, composed, and brought to the game. The music was directed by famous Hong Kong producer, Paco Wong; produced by graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Walter Wong; and conducted by Alex Au, who has a master’s in music from the University of York.

Paco Wong and his team worked with Angela Game to provide most of the music in the game, including the theme song, background music, battle music, and faction themes. Their orchestra has finished recording, and their work will appear in the game at a later date.

In addition to the music accentuating the game’s Eastern themes, we also hope that it makes Myth of Empires a more cinematic and immersive experience for our players.
