It's time for quick bug fix update related to the new NPC.

[h2]🔄 Changed:[/h2]

• [NPCs] Alchemist NPC now sells less potions in the Astral World. The strategy of buying all his potions at the beginning of the run was too strong. He now sells 2-4 normal potions and 1 cursed one in the Astral World and about 2-3x more between levels.
  

[h2]⚙️ Fixed:[/h2]

• [NPCs] Alchemist NPC's shop state is now saved when you exit the game. Before the update you could buy all his potions in the Astral World, exit the game, load again, buy his whole shop again, repeat and get unlimited amount of potions and absolutely destroy the run without any issues.
  
• [NPCs] Fixed Alchemist NPC's sprite layer so he will no longer appear behind decorations between levels.

It's time for the third content update of the Early Access! In the last announcement I mentioned adding dev log about what's coming next, but have decided to make an update instead.

Alchemist NPC has been added who sells random powerful potions like for example increasing spells merging chance, damage dealt, number or perk rerolls and many more! There are a little bit more than 100 potions which he can sell. Besides that we have added 4 new enemies.

This update took longer than we have anticipated because the only pixel artist working on the game has recently moved from Venezuela to Brasil. Because of that he was not working for about a month time.

In the next update we plan to add many Magic Weapons so there will be a lot more available in the pool, especially in the early game when you haven't unlocked them yet. That's why the next update will also happen after few more months.

• [Meta Progression] Added Alchemist NPC who sells random powerful potions in the Astral World and between levels. There are 100+ different potions which he can sell.
  
• [Enemies] Added 4 new enemies - Troll, Lizardman Hunter, Manticore and Leshen are ready to fight you!
  
• [Spells] Added 3 new spells - Dragon’s Call, Elemental Spear and Bone Spikes.

• [Spells] Ancient Awakening spell now can also summon troll and leshen.
  
• [Spells] Pact of Exile spell now can also summons the lizardman hunter.
  
• [Spells] Abyssal Call spell now can also summons the manticore.
  
• [Enemies] Harpist Lamia can no longer spawn in the Void.
  

[h2]⚙️ Fixed:[/h2]

• [Spells] Call of Carrion now correctly displays summons duration instead of always displaying it as 1.

Let me also take this moment to tell you about our upcoming plans:

• Early Access of An Amazing Wizard continues to develop, but since the only pixel artist working on the game has recently moved from Venezuela to Brazil, he had almost a month-long break because he had a lot of things he needed to do related to this.
  
• That being said, I plan to release a dev blog next month showing what will be added in the next update so you will know that the game is not abandoned. I'm sorry about being silent, but we have decided to switch into making lower amount of bigger updates instead of making frequent smaller ones.
  
• I have used said month-long break and some extra free time to start working on a new short game so make sure to watch next announcements to not miss it! Pixel art in the second game will be made by a different person so it will not have any impact on the development of An Amazing Wizard.
