📜Important Note📜


This was the last Development Updates. That's because we are really close to the game's release and all future Development Updates will be replaced with the usual Patch Notes.

We would also like to let you know that 99,9% of the game for EA release is completed and that the next few weeks will be all around balance and bug fix changes only to make the best possible experience for you on launch.

In the last 2 weeks we were working on adding the final boss of Early Access, greatly improving the initial cutscene, adding Journal and rebalancing bosses.

[h2]✅ Added:[/h2]
  • [Bosses] Added the first Void Boss (who is also the final boss of the Early Access).
  • [Introduction] Changed the initial cutscene from having just simple images changing effect to a 2-minutes long well made video with subtitles.
  • [Progression] Added Journal where you can always check your Achievements, see ever collected Artifacts / Spells / Weapons, track the enemies you've slain or check their resistances and reread all important dialogues.
  • [Achievements] Finished 3 remaining achievements.


[h2]🔄 Changed:[/h2]
  • [Bosses] Buffed earth, fire and desert bosses.
  • [Bosses] Bosses now grant 250 => (150 + level
  • 75) experience. (150-600 based on their level)
  • [Bosses] Rebalanced bosses HP on all levels (once more).
  • [Dialogues] Dialogues no longer briefly stop when "reading" characters like ".", "!" or "?".


[h2]⚙️ Fixed:[/h2]
  • [Saves] Fixed a bug where the selected difficulty level was not saving if you have exited the game right after changing the difficulty without going to the actual level.
  • [Health Potions] It's no longer possible to click on Health Potions in the Inventory while resurrecting (leading to losing the Health Potion without it doing anything).
  • [Enemies] Spawned summons are no longer saved when saving the game. Before it could lead to a situation where a player summoned a lot of monsters then exited the game, then loaded it again and all his summons changed into the enemies.

An Amazing Wizard now Runs great on the SteamDeck !🎮

An Amazing Wizard will be available for play on Steam Deck right from the EA launch!

We have already tested it, and the controls are fully optimized, so there’s no need to worry about any button layout issues!

We are planning for the official EA release in May!

Dear Wizards,

In the last 2 weeks we were working on Steam Leaderboard, started working on final boss of the Early Access(!), new summoning spells, reworking passive healing spells and doing many balance changes.

[h2]✅ Added:[/h2]
  • [Main Menu] Added Steam Leaderboard.
  • [Languages] Added Portuguese-Brazil language. Thank you Thitz for doing a great job with it!
  • [Spells] Added 6 new strong summoning spells.
  • [Systems] Added cheating detection preventing your time to be added to the Leaderboard if you have cheated.
  • [QOL] Added extra line in the Spellweaver's Soul description that it "Remains forever in the inventory".
  • [Astral World] Added random short welcome messages when interacting with NPCs in the Astral World.
  • [Level Generation] Flying enemies now can spawn in the small closed forced fight rooms.


[h2]🔄 Changed:[/h2]
  • [Meta Progression] Changed prices of all elemental upgrades so they now cost very similar amount. Before the differences were so big that some elements costed almost 35% less orbs than others. It's better balanced now with very minimal differences in total prices.
  • [Enemies] Increased bosses health on highest levels by up to 45%
  • [Enemies] Shopkeeper now can be enraged only using the Basic Spell. It was too annoying to accidentally trigger fight with him using spells.
  • [Bosses] Pyronis now deals contact damage in his "Lava Machine Gun" state.
  • [Bosses] Changed all bosses resistances.
  • [Resistances] Changed maximum elemental resistances from [-100%, +100%] to [-80%, +80%].
  • [Artifacts] Artifacts activating when taking damage no longer activate with each tick of the debuff. It was leading to hilarious situations where enemis were dying after dealing damage to you just once.
  • [Spells] Changed spell summoning a random Werewolf to a spell summoning a random Frog.
  • [Spells] All healing spells which are not based on lifesteal now can regenerate only up to 40% maximum health. Their mana cost has been reduced by 50%
  • [Spells] Lowered rarity and mana cost of most of the existing summoning spells. They were way too weak with their insane mana costs.
  • [Level Generation] Shortened level length on higher levels. Now the runs should last around 40-60 minutes.
  • [Languages] Updated Chinese translations.


[h2]⚙️ Fixed:[/h2]
  • [Enemies] Fixed a bug where enemies could be stuck inside walls. Now they are pushed upwards when inside walls.
  • [Enemies] Flying enemies are now always able to find the way back to their starting location after being pushed too far. Before they could refuse to cooperate and stay outside the map bounds forever making it impossible to kill them.
  • [Enemies] Shopkeeper's Poison Armor now shrinks when the Shopkeeper is shrunken.
  • [Bosses] Taurus' Air Tornadoes can no longer be destroyed by the player.
  • [Magic Weapons] It's now impossible to use Magic Weapon for the second time until it's previous attack animation finished. This bug was causing the on-going attack animation to be cancelled.
  • [Artifacts / Perks] Artifacts and Perks dealing damage to enemies after player got hit will no longer trigger when losing health due to poison, ignite or bleeding.


[h2]❌ Removed:[/h2]
  • [Boss] Removed information about the need of killing 1 enemy when getting close to the invisible door on the right side of the boss room.

Dear Wizards,

In the last 2 weeks we were working on new enemies, initial cutscene, credits screen, balancing, adding more QOL features and bug fixes.

[h2]✅ Added:[/h2]
  • [Story] Added initial cutscene! It has missing background music and voice acting currently.
  • [Enemies] Added new enemy named Ice Golem.
  • [Enemies] Added new enemy named Souls Collector.
  • [Bosses] All bosses are now immune to all hard crowd control effects (freeze, petrification, fear, confusion and charm) and they no longer get extra immunities to debuffs based on the difficulty level.
  • [Perks] You now gain a free Perk Reroll every 4 levels.
  • [Spells] Spells are now 65% less likely to spawn in their biomes. For example there is now way lower chance for fire spells to spawn in the fire biome. This had to be done because it felt really bad to get like 5 fire spells in the fire biome and struggling a lot to fight fire enemies.
  • [Spells] Elemental wizards now have 13% more chance to drop a spell from their element.
  • [Spells] Dark Puppy now can trigger on-attack enchantments.
  • [QOL] It's now possible to hover over currencies on top of screen to see what they are.
  • [QOL] Added this sentence when unlocking new Items: "You can take up to 3 Artifacts you just unlocked outside the Astral World." (separate for each item type).
  • [QOL] Fast upgrade of unlocking meta progression and new items now starts after 0.5 => 0.25 seconds.
  • [QOL] Fast upgrade of unlocking meta progression and new items now accelerates faster. It takes about 3-4 seconds max to unlock single tier of an upgrade now. Before the change it could take up to 10-12 seconds which was painfully long.
  • [Ending] Added credits screen showing after finishing the game on highest difficulty level.


[h2]🔄 Changed:[/h2]
  • [Enemies] Melee enemies now can flip during attack animation starting from 2 => 3 difficulty level. Second difficulty was too brutal because of that.
  • [Spells] Lowered health and movement speed of Dark Puppy by about 30%
  • [World] Changed the direction in which each boss portal is spawned. Every biome now have a different boss portal spawn direction.
  • [World] Most of the switches which could be activated multiple times now can be activated only once. It was too confusing for the new players if they could open and close the door right away. Switches which can be activated multiple times will be used for more advanced doors in the future.
  • [QOL] Player's Icon is now 125% larger on the minimap.
  • [Enemies] Changed Undead Punisher's movement speed.
  • [Enemies] Enemies(including bosses) can't have more than 80% resistance to any element now.
  • [Enemies] Conjoined Revenant is now level 3 => 4 enemy.
  • [Artifacts] Map artifact now reveals only shape of the map and special rooms. Thanks to this change you are now able to see which places you haven't explored yet.


[h2]⚙️ Fixed:[/h2]
  • [Spells] Dark Puppy now correctly triggers on-death effects.
  • [Enemies] Fixed a bug where bosses bodies could remain red or green after their death.
  • [Enemies] Goblin Shaman is now able to heal allies.
  • [Weapons] Weapon's current cooldown is now saved when changing level or exiting the game.
  • [Level Generation] Fixed a bug where sometimes the levels could not generate.
  • [Spells] Changed Arcane Burst sprite.


[h2]❌ Removed:[/h2]
  • [Languages] Removed Korean language from the game. The reason is that the current translation was done by AI and it was a really bad translation. If we will ever bring it back, then it will be translated by a translator instead of AI.
