Dear Wizards,
In the last 2 weeks we were working on new enemies, initial cutscene, credits screen, balancing, adding more QOL features and bug fixes.
[h2]✅ Added:[/h2]
- [Story] Added initial cutscene! It has missing background music and voice acting currently.
- [Enemies] Added new enemy named Ice Golem.
- [Enemies] Added new enemy named Souls Collector.
- [Bosses] All bosses are now immune to all hard crowd control effects (freeze, petrification, fear, confusion and charm) and they no longer get extra immunities to debuffs based on the difficulty level.
- [Perks] You now gain a free Perk Reroll every 4 levels.
- [Spells] Spells are now 65% less likely to spawn in their biomes. For example there is now way lower chance for fire spells to spawn in the fire biome. This had to be done because it felt really bad to get like 5 fire spells in the fire biome and struggling a lot to fight fire enemies.
- [Spells] Elemental wizards now have 13% more chance to drop a spell from their element.
- [Spells] Dark Puppy now can trigger on-attack enchantments.
- [QOL] It's now possible to hover over currencies on top of screen to see what they are.
- [QOL] Added this sentence when unlocking new Items: "You can take up to 3 Artifacts you just unlocked outside the Astral World." (separate for each item type).
- [QOL] Fast upgrade of unlocking meta progression and new items now starts after 0.5 => 0.25 seconds.
- [QOL] Fast upgrade of unlocking meta progression and new items now accelerates faster. It takes about 3-4 seconds max to unlock single tier of an upgrade now. Before the change it could take up to 10-12 seconds which was painfully long.
- [Ending] Added credits screen showing after finishing the game on highest difficulty level.
[h2]🔄 Changed:[/h2]
- [Enemies] Melee enemies now can flip during attack animation starting from 2 => 3 difficulty level. Second difficulty was too brutal because of that.
- [Spells] Lowered health and movement speed of Dark Puppy by about 30%
- [World] Changed the direction in which each boss portal is spawned. Every biome now have a different boss portal spawn direction.
- [World] Most of the switches which could be activated multiple times now can be activated only once. It was too confusing for the new players if they could open and close the door right away. Switches which can be activated multiple times will be used for more advanced doors in the future.
- [QOL] Player's Icon is now 125% larger on the minimap.
- [Enemies] Changed Undead Punisher's movement speed.
- [Enemies] Enemies(including bosses) can't have more than 80% resistance to any element now.
- [Enemies] Conjoined Revenant is now level 3 => 4 enemy.
- [Artifacts] Map artifact now reveals only shape of the map and special rooms. Thanks to this change you are now able to see which places you haven't explored yet.
[h2]⚙️ Fixed:[/h2]
- [Spells] Dark Puppy now correctly triggers on-death effects.
- [Enemies] Fixed a bug where bosses bodies could remain red or green after their death.
- [Enemies] Goblin Shaman is now able to heal allies.
- [Weapons] Weapon's current cooldown is now saved when changing level or exiting the game.
- [Level Generation] Fixed a bug where sometimes the levels could not generate.
- [Spells] Changed Arcane Burst sprite.
[h2]❌ Removed:[/h2]
- [Languages] Removed Korean language from the game. The reason is that the current translation was done by AI and it was a really bad translation. If we will ever bring it back, then it will be translated by a translator instead of AI.
