We Said We’d Fix Things & We Did. The Big March Update Is Live! And Now 50% Off?
Hello Grinders,
[p]As we entered March, we had a clear list in hand. We took your feedback, picked the most requested changes, and focused on making the game smoother, clearer, and less frustrating. And now we can finally say it:[/p]
We did all of it.
[p]From here on, we believe there are no major missing pieces left (hopefuly). Future updates will focus less on fixes and more on new content.[/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p]
Here’s what’s new:
• [p]You can now restart directly from the pause screen. You can also hold R for a quick restart. No more unnecessary waiting between runs.[/p]
 • [p]Dash is now a fixed skill (this is personally my favorite change, and it feels great). Dash was making other gadgets feel irrelevant, and let’s be honest, everyone was using it anyway. So we made it a core skill. Now you can freely explore other gadgets.[/p][p][/p]
 • [p]An upgrade cancel button has been added. No more getting stuck with a bad choice. This was one of the most common complaints. You can now check what an upgrade offers and back out if you don’t want it.[/p]
 • [p]Upgrades that scale with percentages now include a “base” label. You can clearly see what affects what. This is especially for players who like to dig into the numbers. Combined with the stat panel we added last month, you can now fully understand the math behind your build.[/p][p][/p]
 • [p]The pause screen now shows what you need to do for the next rank. Your short term goal is always visible. If you start a run for progression and forget what you were doing, you no longer need to quit. You can track everything from the pause menu.[/p][p][/p]
 • [p]One of the biggest additions: The game now supports 3 profile slots. If you want to start fresh while keeping your progress, you can. You can now create, delete, and manage multiple profiles.[/p][p][/p]
 • [p]And finally, the unclear “???” upgrades at the start of the game have been removed. What you see now truly represents what you get. It was an interesting idea at first, but no longer fits the current state of the game.[/p]
[p]We hope you like these changes. These were the most common issues mentioned in negative reviews. From here on, we are moving toward adding new content.[/p][p]At the same time, the Steam Spring Sale has started and Swarm Grinder is now 50% off. If you’ve been waiting to jump in, now is the time.[/p][p]As always, we are waiting for your feedback. We read everything, take notes, and act on it.[/p][p]Thank you for supporting us and staying with us while we bring Swarm Grinder to where it deserves to be. See you in the next update.[/p]

Hey Everyone, Take a Look at Kardiya
Hello Grinders,
[p][/p][p]Our friend studio InEv Games has announced their new game, Kardiya: The Winds of Fate. [/p][p]It is a narrative roguelite RPG set in the Gaia universe, built around dice mechanics and a system where failure actively drives the story forward. If you enjoy story driven systems and meaningful choices, be sure to check out its Steam page and add it to your wishlist. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p]

We’re in the Rogue Bots Festival. Are You Ready?
Hello Grinders!
[p]Swarm Grinder is now part of the Steam Rogue Bots Festival. During the festival, the game is discounted and available in special bundles we prepared with our partner studios.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]If you enjoy bots, mechs, intense action, and the roguelike loop, this festival is for you. You can grab Swarm Grinder at a better price and discover other great games in the genre at the same time.[/p][p][/p][p]The festival runs March 1–9, 2026. Check it out at the link below:[/p][p]https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45723254/sale/RogueBots2026[/p][p][/p][p]Meanwhile, we’re continuing to work on our 2026 roadmap updates. The March patch is on the way, bringing us one step closer to Swarm Grinder 2.0.[/p][p][/p][p]Don’t forget to check out the festival, and as always, we’re looking forward to your feedback.[/p]

Check Out Our 40+ Bundles Before the Festival Starts!
Hello Grinders!
[p]Our game will soon be featured in the Steam Rogue Bots Festival. We thought we’d take this opportunity to make a few bundle deals. Yes, just a few… with around 40 different partners.[/p][p][/p][p]Of course, these bundles weren’t put together randomly. We specifically teamed up with partner studios creating VS like, roguelike and mech themed games that appeal to a similar audience. Our goal is not just to offer a good discount, but also to introduce you to games you’re likely to enjoy.[/p][p]Meanwhile, we’re continuing to prepare the game for the 2.0 update. A new patch is coming in March, addressing many small but frustrating issues. While you’re waiting for the next update, you might want to take a look at the discounted bundles.[/p]

[p]By the way, some of these bundles are actually cheaper than buying Swarm Grinder alone. Grab them before our team manager notices… or before they fire me ^^[/p]

Step by Step Toward Swarm Grinder 2.0. The Latest Update is Character Stats
Hello again grinders!
[p]The new update is live, and we’ve finally added a feature many of you have been asking for. You can now press ESC in game to view your character stats in detail. How much your damage has increased, which multipliers are active, how powerful your build really is… it’s all right there. Testing overpower builds and diving into the math behind them is now much easier.[/p][p][/p][p]In addition, the Test Workshop is no longer part of the main branch. It was a confusing system and in some cases prevented achievements from unlocking. We have removed it from the main version for that reason. If you would like to try experimental features, you can switch to the beta branch through your Steam settings.[/p][p]We also made an important change to the “Lone Wolf” and “Ace Pilot” achievements. Previously, you had to manually disable all meta upgrades one by one to unlock them. This is no longer necessary. You can now use the reset button to clear your meta upgrades and earn these achievements properly.[/p][p][/p][p]Along with these changes, some players experienced save issues yesterday, but we fixed them quickly. We hope it did not cause too much trouble. We are grateful for your patience and support. After the update, please try the game and do not hesitate to share your feedback. We read every single comment and we promise to bring Swarm Grinder to its best possible state. See you in the next update.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
