Build Your Own Mercenary
In Empyreal, you play as a Mercenary tasked with uncovering secrets from deep inside a Monolith on a distant planet. Empyreal doesn’t feature a pre-made protagonist and so you’ll have to build your own. From a scrappy, finely aged veteran of The Company to a fresh-faced up-and-comer, how you’ll look completing your mission is down to your own creative flair.
What can you change?
Body - Choose between male and female and a variety of skin tones
Head - Face shape, complexion, and eye colour are all adjustable
Hair - Hair, eyebrows, and facial hair have a wide variety of different styles and colour options
Makeup - Eyeliner, eyeshadow, blush, and lips can all also be adjusted
Scars - Choose from five different scar types, varying their intensity and location
Want to just jump straight into the action and uncover the mysteries of the Monolith? No problem! We’ve included some fantastic preset looks for those who just want to get on with the mission at hand.
But that’s not all. Who will your mercenary be? In Empyreal, you’ll also be able to influence your character’s background. This will give you a unique starting set of equipment and it will also occasionally provide you with special dialogue options which will be specific to your background choice.
