Scheduled to go live at 12 am PDT Friday morning 4/30/21

Calling all Hunters!

We hope that you have been surviving out there in the Wastelands and teaming up with friends to bring hope back to humanity. It's been a long stretch since the initial release so we're dropping a big care package of goodies to get you fired up and slaying monsters once again.

Want to just go out there and just blow off a little steam and a few zombie heads? Infinite challenge is a new mode just for you. No missions, just survive as long as you can by killing as many as you can.

Looking for some good loot? We've added Secret Treasure Hunt to get you searching for some awesome gear. But beware of the mines and the guards or instead of heading home with a bag full of loot, your crew will be carrying you back in a body bag.

We've also added a ton of quality of life features. New to the game? We got a tutorial to get you started. Wanna show off to friends? We've added the new combo, player title, and achievement systems for you to showcase your slaying skills. Need an extra (or easier challenge)? Feel free to set your difficulty with corresponding payouts.

All this with some new gear, optimization fixes, and even BETA controller support, we hope will add a ton of fun and replayability for all you hunters new and old alike. Please let us know what you think of the update and always "Happy Hunting!"

Z-Crew Environmental Concept Art #2
The Not-So-Barren Wasteland
This location almost seems tranquil compared to the chaos and carnage taking place around the world of ZCrew. But don't let your eyes deceive you, the desert is still teeming with zombies, ghouls, and other unspeakable horrors. And don't forget the sand... I hate sand.

Patch Notes 2/5/2021

Hey there, Hunters!

We have a small update tonight with a few Quality of LIfe improvements to create a smoother experience for Hunters as we continue the mission to reclaim Earth!

Intel is key, and Dungeons now display details of material drops. Now you know exactly where to go to pick up what you need! A mission rewards UI has also been added. Review how your mission broke down, what you've gained, and pinpoint what you can do to further improve! We have also added level notifications and made it easier to invite your crew to join you on your missions!

Most notably, we are also replacing the old Weapon Crafting system with a Weapon Growth system that we feel will be more intuitive and better fitting for the theme of the game. As highly enhanced humans in a world of rapid technological advancement, its only natural that our weapons grow with us as we hunt and conquer mission after mission. Damage numbers are also being added in game and different weapons will deal different damage to different enemies. Find the optimal combination to succeed!

Finally, we'd like to thank the Hunters who have joined our efforts in this Early Access stage. We look forward to hearing your ideas! We're still very early in the quest to save the world and you are a part of our evolution as we continue to develop the game! Please let us know how you feel about the UI, the characters, skills, and in particular, the game mechanics and controls! Of course, we need your help squashing bugs (and zombies) as well! We'll be checking out your reports on the Steam Discussions, Hunters!

- Team ZCREW

 • Players can invite friends to join mission by pressing “J”
 • Adding damage numbers in game. Different weapons will deal different damage to different enemies.
 • You can now select “Single, Friend, Public” upon selecting missions without going back to the main menu
