Join our team and develop the game community with us!

Hello everyone!

We're happy to say that our community continues to grow and we've decided to look into the possibility of assigning few moderators for our Discord server!

Community Moderators will be tasked with providing help with answering most of the common questions for our games that are frequently asked on our Live Motion Games Discord server. They will also ensure that discussions led in our chats and threads will stay civil and will generally look out for the community - including gathering suggestions or bug reports from our players.

If you're interested in becoming one make sure to fill out the survey that you can access by this link!

If you would also be interested in becoming a moderator for our Discussion Boards on Steam be sure to also let us know about that fact in the last position of the survey.

We will be collecting applications up until end of the month!

Kind regards,
Live Motion Games

Happy Easter from Builders of China Team!

Hello Builders!
As we approach Easter we would like to wish you all a great, happy and warm time to relax - let this weekend be a great one!
While this particular holiday is not that popular in China we still would like to take this chance to wish you all a great weekend. We hope you will find some time to relax, recharge your batteris and simply rest! In these days especially it's important to find those little moments of happiness and celebrate them properly and that is why we sincerely hope you will be able to do just so!

Easter is inherently connected with Easter Eggs. What you can see on the image above is the Century Egg - sometimes also called as hundred-years eggs, millenium eggs or simply black eggs. It's a Chinese egg-based dish that is made by preserving the egg in a mixture of specially prepared ingredients including clay, ash, salt, rice hulls and quicklime. Preparation of this type of egg can take even up to several months depending on the process used. It might be a very interesting addition to our typical Easter Eggs!

Happy Easter!

Best regards,
Builders of China Team

Open beta testing is coming!

Hello everyone!

As you might know Live Motion Games hosts a variety of interesting projects that we are proud to work on.

We are happy to say that day by day we make progress on each of them getting closer and closer to the release date of each of the particular games we work on. Our teams are busy as bees, as they say, but the enthusiasm within them is steadily growing - easily translating into creation of many great features that you will be able to test soon.

And speaking of testing - some of our projects still are accepting the sign-ups for the playtests that will happen directly on Steam. Below you'll find the list of games that are included in the play-tests project that will happen in future.

Builder Simulator - if you've ever dreamed about creating your very own house, exactly as you would like it to be then dream no more - Builder Simulator will allow you to do just that. It's a game dedicated to each of you who find joy in creation and execution of your own ideas. After all in the game you'll be able to go through every step of the construction process.

Chernobyl Liquidators Simulator - is a project where we tackle the topic of the catastrophe that happened in Chernobyl in April, 1986. We are approaching the topic seriously and realistically - no monsters in game but instead you will have to work hard in order to contain the radiation, complete your tasks as Liquidator and work for the sake of others.

Builders of China - our take on the management type of game where you will be responsible for the well-being and development of different Chinese settlements. Your decision will influence establishing trading outposts, growth of the population and research in new technologies. Will you hold to the Mandate of Heavens?

Supermarket Manager - if you ever wanted to manage your own Supermarket - here is a chance for you. You'll be tasked with many duties including hiring your own employees, equipping the market or developing your store. Create the market you can!

Currently we are happy to say that playtests for Chernobyl Liquidators Simulator will happen soon and shortly after them tests for Builder Simulator will follow. You might then expect our other games listed above to follow the suit in foreseeable future.

We invite you all to join the playtests - it's a great opportunity to check the games before release and influence the way they are developed. We'll be looking into your feedback as much as possible when deciding on further functions and features. We'll also make sure to eliminate all bugs your reports will bring to light.

Thank you for your continuous support. We are blessed to have such a great community and we hope to bring you the best games!

Kind regards,
Live Motion Games

Builders of China - Devlog #7 - "Buildings of the Empire #1"

Hello Builders!
There is no Empire without its people and there are no people without their buildings and structures!

Beta test sign-ups are still on-going and we invite you all to send your application in order to have a chance to play the game and check it for yourself a little bit earlier!
While last time we talked about houses that citizens of our Empire can call homes this time we're gonna talk more about the buildings where they work and toil for the greatness of the Empire. As you might have expected - in the game you will be able to build variety of buildings that will fulfill a certain particular role in the game. Some of their use might be self-explanatory - you pretty much can think about what happens in a building called Fisherman's Hut, some others might be a more complicated.

Take a look below to see our concept arts for the Hut in question and take a look at how the art evolved. Early concepts evolve into colourless representation from which we went into colouring - an important part of the task of creation. After all with colour you're setting the tone of the building that then can be followed by the 3D artists.

We are happy to showcase one more building this time - both its colourless and coloured versions and we were wondering whether you would be able to discern what kind of building it is and what is its designed function? We await your replies in the comments below this devlog and don't worry - we'll let you know there what exactly is this particular building. A little tip is that its connected to safety and one of those is more than necessary in a city.

What do you think about the overall direction we're taking with the artstyle of the game? Do you like it or have any kind of feedback for them? Be sure to let us know in the comments!

Thank you for tuning in this time and see you next one!

Best regards,
Builders of China Team
