Hello detectives,



We have released our latest patch that addresses a number of issues reported by the community.

Please note that the changelog may contain spoilers.

Changelog:
  • Arrival mindmap: Coat Note is no longer floating if picked up before signing in
  • Added extra tutorial panel explaining discussable states
  • Updated tutorial to open on correct mindmap
  • Book by fireplace now costs 1 tick to look at and a second tick to read, and is free to leave without reading
  • Minor shadow flickering issue fixed under chair in telegram room
  • The sigil in the hedge maze can no longer become non interactable without explanation when returned to
  • The Bean nighe now behaves correctly after loading a save
  • Stable Door Lock no longer goes behind the Stable Door after clicking on it in Analysis Mode
  • During "The Fight", Mr Skerritt connection updates at incorrect time
  • Game now waits for dialogue close before showing final comic panels
  • Game now prevents player from going back into gardens during chase, plus changed anvil sound triggers to run in background
  • Fixed birds during the ball so they will rotate to face the player
  • Should no longer be possible to repeatedly skip 15 mins every time pre-ball autosave is loaded
  • The Missing Person "Investigate Room 20" and "Staff" now has correct mindmap connection text/timing
  • Ward’s bark now makes more sense If you try to enter the Lucid Dream without "Shared Dreams”
  • Interacting with Eamonn's Painting from all angles no longer hides Goibniu and Deane from view, making the sequence unclear.
  • Trying to sleep in the bed past day 1 now accurately displays time cost
  • It's no longer possible to file mind map lead for research smiting in book of gods before you've seen the book of gods
  • No longer able to get the black screen in the entrance hall by spamming enter at point of no return
  • Fixed issue in the Catacombs where clicking on an object named “DOOR” makes one minute pass but not the location.
  • Added failsafes to make sure Ward isn't killed by fae until after 9pm day 3
  • Unknown Sigils now say "unknown" at the end chamber
  • *3 visual variations of portal scenes added for each ending
  • Fixed Visual flicker fix in store room after Arwa’s quest
  • Darragh's voice line no longer duplicate and text has been adjusted to match
  • Mysterious symbol inventory text reworded.
  • Cathal, Ivy, Victoria and Arwa mysteries now unlock from eavesdrops in the women's changing room and graveyard
  • Talking to Ines or Victoria for the first time on day 3 won't give you dialogue referring to day 2
  • Changed how player's position is set up in final Ivy & Victoria scene
  • Updated mind map connections for Ivy’s quest for better guidance
  • Adjusted Victoria's dialogue to reflect her lore
  • Fixed issue when clicking on “mystery” when speaking with Jonathan Blake First Voice Over line when discussing philanthropy with Skerritt is no longer missing VO
  • Notification now triggered for cigar burn discussion unlock when presented with bridge game
  • You will now not be able to enter Father Sinnott's room after solving his mystery.
  • Discussion update notification should correctly trigger after talking to Dupre about the exorcism
  • Made third aspect discussable with Dupre with dialogue from missing aspect, and updated cutscenes to remove overhead icons
  • Can now speak to Dupre when he has an eavesdrop with Carmela at 2pm on Day 2
  • Blocks on Ines’ puzzle box will now deselect properly on gamepad.
  • Updated well minigame to add more guidance towards additional components
  • Trash bin in Varley's room is no longer purple
  • Adjusted position of treasure chest slightly to avoid clipping
  • Silently drop safe code evidence if player doesn't have it when they open the safe
  • Fixed an issue where the text after a comma was not rendering in credits
  • Added ability to skip starting flicker on skip cutscene menu for credits.
  • In Doctor Callaghan's room after he moves the camera out there's no longer a collision for the camera
  • Fixed how Doctor Callaghan moves position when you save/load after he takes your picture
  • Fixed the way highlights show up interactions in detective vision.
  • Pushed max FOV to 105 for accessibility
  • Plant texture in Drawing Room now turning to face the player properly
  • Crouching footsteps now sound slower than walking ones.
  • Analysis of all crosses (Caitlin, Doyle, Fiadh, Ruairi and Sinnott) should now unlock correct library topics and facts
  • Book on table in Drawing room is now highlighted in detective mode
  • Leaving a talk now costs 11 ticks, standardised all talk times to 30 mins
  • There’s no longer a sound of a door opening after the Séance cutscene.
  • Several typos fixed
  • Skerritt is no longer clipping into the pews at 12pm on Day 3
  • Clock in Varley's room and the taxidermy pheasant in O'Finn's room are no longer red
  • Leaving and re-entering the east corridor closet will allow you do redo the panel combination even if you have already done it before
  • Adjusted Darcy's position to make her look more directly at Varley.
  • You should no longer be able to talk to Etienne through the bridge.
  • Updated discussion unlock UI to fix spelling and image quality


Further update 21 January 2026:
  • Fixed an issue where entering drawing room during the same hour caused soft locks and/or looping dialogue
