Soundodger 2 is Launching October 11th!

Hey Dodgers,

It's me, Bean. Hi. Just letting you know the long wait is finally almost over. That's right, Soundodger 2, the sequel to your favorite game about dodging the music, is just around the corner, launching in Early Access on October 11th! If you're reading this, I already know 2 things about you. First, you have at least a vague interest in this game, since you've gotten this far into the paragraph. And second, you are probably busy, because let's be honest, we all are. So, my only request is that you wishlist the game right here on Steam. Go ahead, I'll wait.

Wishlisting does several things, all good stuff. First off, you get a reminder when the game launches on October 11th (and also when it graduates out of Early Access in ~*~the future~*~), so you won't have to remember to come back here in the commotion of putting a Halloween costume together. Second, wishlisting tells Steam this game is important and shows it to more potential players, thus turning our little community into our slightly-bigger community. And fourth, you get to press a meaningful button!

If you've already wishlisted, thank you. If you still want to confess your impatience for a game about little shapes and cool music, come to our discord. There are dozens of us (actually, close to 600).

Now, if you don't mind, I have a little bit of work to do. See you soon!

Happy Dodging,
-♥Bean

Demo Patch 0.0.17

Thanks to everyone who's played, enjoyed, and wishlisted the Soundodger 2 demo this past week! We've had lots of fans from years past along with fresh pairs of eyes (and ears) experience a simple demo of a simple sequel to a simple game.

There's much more in store for Soundodger 2, as it will be launching in Early Access later this year! Those mysterious "editor" and "user levels" buttons on the main menu will eventually be your 2nd home, so get ready for plenty of new music, challenges, and surprises in the near future.

Get a reminder when the game launches by wishlisting it from the store page!

This patch mostly deals with allowing for a slightly more playable experience for those without a proper video card. While we're technically not supporting onboard video cards, there was still room for optimization for everyone. If you couldn't get a 60fps experience before, hopefully it's a little better now. We have more optimizations to do indefinitely, so thanks for your patience as these things get sorted out over time.

Patch notes below!

Happy dodging,
-Bean
