Patch 1.1.6

  • Added two new traits that work with the Camouflage trait to create a stealth build for some species.
  • Stalker(Limbs slot): Allows the use of running while camouflaged.
  • Stealthy(Body slot): Increases camouflage success rate.

New Trait: Camouflage (Patch 1.1.5)

  • A new trait has been added to the game for all species, Camouflage!
  • Slot: Head (so your hatchlings can use this pretty early-on it just costs 1 evolution point to equip)
  • Attempt to hide every 15 seconds until you attack, run, or sprint.
  • While camouflaged, you'll remain undetectable by creatures.
  • While camouflaged, there is a camouflage check every 15 seconds that you must pass to remain hidden.
  • If you are walking during a camouflage check there is a 40% chance it will fail.
  • If you are still during a camouflage check there is an 80% chance you will remain hidden for another 15 seconds.

Patch 1.1.4

  • Fixed, now when you eat plant pieces at your nest their food bar will disappear when fully eaten.
  • The trait tooltip now displays for your selected traits.
  • The ability tooltip now displays for your selected abilities.

Patch 1.1.3

  • Added some new tasks to the game!
    (Attack Any Insect, Attack Any Creature, Kill Any Insect, Kill Any Creature, Kill Terrestrials, Kill Aerials, Kill Aquatics, Kill Amphibious)
  • Added a new task reward, the Nest Point!
  • Adjusted the objective amount for some objectives so they wouldn't be as time consuming for the harder tasks.
  • Made night-vision a little brighter for hatchlings and juveniles.

New Feature: Traits

  • You can select different passive bonuses for your creatures, called Traits.
  • Located on the tab menu's Traits tab.
  • Hatchlings start off with 1 trait slot unlocked and older creatures have more slots unlocked, with a total of 4 available slots.
  • Each slot has multiple traits you can choose between.
  • It costs 1 evolution point to switch to a new trait.
  • Trait bonuses are passive and are in effect while active in a trait slot.
  • To start off the new traits system these are the available traits: deal bleed damage when attacked, bonus damage, bonus hunger every time you eat, bonus hydration every time you drink, bonus health, bonus health regeneration, bonus stamina, bonus stamina regen, bonus land speed, bonus water speed, slower hunger drain, slower hydration drain, and faster turn speed.

** Some traits are only available for certain species.
