Calm Lake Water

🔹Lake water is now calmer.
🔹Water has been optimized better for the GPU.

Smelling Dinosaur Trails

🔹The player can now see scent trails left by the dinosaur they are smelling.

🔹Dinosaur corpses that are being smelled by the player now have their scent removed when the player eats from them.

Smelling Visual Updates

🔹The smelling system has received a visual overhaul. The old highlight/outline on smellable objects is now gone in favor of animated particle effects.

🔹The size of some edible plants has been changed, including the jungle plants which were too small to see.

🔹You could not see the food in some herbivores' mouths. This has been fixed, but now you need to feed them as soon as possible to satisfy their new hunger. This includes most herbivores.

🔹Each main biome that has grass (Prairie, Deciduous Forest, Coniferous Forest, and Jungle) now also have patches with only short grass, this was done to try to give smaller dinosaurs areas they can be seen in instead of there just being taller grass that completely hides them.

🔹The delay in cycling through smelling targets has changed from 2 seconds to 4 seconds. You now have twice as long to smell each target while cycling through them.

🔹Fixed tutorials to no longer pop up when switching dinosaurs if you've chosen to not show a tutorial again.

🔹Plants now have around 5 times more food on them but this is offset by herbivores having a larger bite size.

🔹Your dinosaurs no longer automatically face forward when you stop strafing left or right.

🔹Edible plants and trees can now spawn on beaches.

Environment Overhaul

🔹Each map has received an environment overhaul. Each map features a major biome, and 2 sub-biomes all with variations on their environmental asset usage and distribution.

🔹A lot of the vegetation models have been replaced with new models.

🔹The Prairie map has been added to the game.

🔹The ocean's water is all new and features underwater rendering including depth-based shading, the deeper you go the darker it gets.

🔹Dinosaurs, vegetation, and objects were 10 times too large. This was throwing off distance calculations for all sorts of features. This has been corrected and many adjustments have been made to accommodate this change in size.

🔹Now, most of the time, smaller dinosaurs shouldn't push larger dinosaurs around.

🔹Some improvements to the nest-based dinosaur spawner have been made to improve herd/family spawning.

🔹Some improvements to the biome-based dinosaur spawner have been made.

🔹Dinosaur footstep sound frequency has been reduced.

🔹Dinosaur call sound frequency has been reduced.

🔹A new custom resource spawning system has been implemented for spawning edible fish, plants, and trees during runtime.

🔹Archelon land speed has increased by 30%.

🔹Megalodon's extremely quick speed has been fixed.

🔹Megalodon's swimming animations no longer adds to its movement speed.

🔹Dinosaur overhead healthbars can now be seen from twice as far when enabled.

🔹Edible trees now have more food on them.

🔹You can now change the game's starting map in the Game Options. Use this in case the memory is too high after switching from the starting map to your map of choice or if you just want to get into your favorite map quicker.

🔹Rain particles are no longer generated when the camera is underwater.

Update 0.9.102.3

🔹In the game audio options menu you can change the speaker mode to use 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound if you have the correct speaker setup for it. Surround sound works for dinosaur roars, footsteps, eating sounds, and attack sounds. Ambient sounds and music are not surround-enabled.

🔹Smelling highlights/outlines look a little better now.

🔹The Unity Engine has been updated to 2020.3.23f1.

🔹Your swimming dinosaurs no longer turn just from looking around while moving, you now have to hold right-click in order to turn the direction your camera is looking. Moving left and right with the movement keys still works without needing to hold right-click.

🔹Tutorial popups should no longer be popping up again after you click "Do Not Show Again".
