  • The dinosaur nest 3D-model has been replaced with a new model that does not have eggs as decorations built into the mesh. The old nest having eggs built into the mesh was being calculated in the world's collision and it was causing dinosaurs to not be able to walk over them. The new models don't have that problem and dinosaur hatchlings are once again free to roam around the nest area.
  • Eggs are now spawning at the correct size.
  • Food being dropped should no longer be spawning under the terrain.
  • Dinosaur AI should no longer be picking up food if it is not within interaction range.

Eating sound volume needed to be adjusted because herbivores were hard to hear and carnivores were extremely loud.
  • Increased the sound volume for herbivores eating.
  • Decreased the sound volume for carnivores eating.

  • Made changes to the code to get multiplayer functionality closer to working.
  • Toggling the user interface on and off is now done with the "F11" key instead of the "F12" key because Steam uses the F12 key for taking screenshots.

  • Started using World Streamer 2 so Isle of Pangaea's world can be bigger.
  • Clicking a dinosaur species to unlock it no longer automatically starts a new game session with that species. You'll need to click the button an additional time after unlocking that species in order to play.
  • Fixed a case of dinosaurs getting stuck when chasing food.

Update 0.1.47.3

When my dinosaur hatchlings were being killed more often than usual by much larger dinosaurs I thought it was time to add in the following: the larger the size difference between two dinosaurs is the less likely they are to attack eachother. Hungrier carnivores look harder for prey so a dinosaur being smaller or larger won't matter as much in this scenario.

  • Fixed a case of dinosaurs not being able to reach their food.
  • Fixed a case of dinosaurs getting stuck on eachother.
  • Fixed some cases of dinosaurs looking like they were running when they weren't really running.
  • Dinosaurs get thirsty and hungry twice as slowly.
  • Dinosaur thirst and hunger has been doubled.
  • Calling for help no longer makes the player thirsty.
