Patch 1.3.13

  • Added the new KWS 2 water system to the game to upgarade KWS version 1. This brings with it shoreline waves, splashes, and the capability to do waterfalls and streams.
  • Fixed a problem with the animator, if offscreen, if a creature died it could get stuck not looking like it was dead.
  • Re-enabled the H-Trace Global Illumination graphics option, this will reduce your fps but makes shadows and lighting look better.
  • Re-enabled fog.

Patch 1.3.12c

  • Now the most toxic of food, that used to give +10 toxicity per bite now only gives +1 toxicity per bite.
  • Toxicity now only causes damage after reaching 100 stacks.

Patch 1.3.12b

  • Hatchlings can now smell insects.
  • The terrain tessellation effect has been disabled, so insects and small creatures are visible on top of the terrain instead of under it.

Patch 1.3.11B (Graphics API Switch)

  • Switched the game from using DirectX12 to DirectX11, and switched the scripting backend from IL2CPP to Mono. These two changes reduced the amount of system ram the game uses, slightly improved the game's fps, and reduced the games build time.

  • Fixed some glitches with the carnotaurus' tail animator, look animator, and legs animator.
  • Made some adjustments to how loud ai creature roars are, and how far away they can be heard.
  • Added new call sounds for acrocanthosaurus, albertosaurus, allosaurus, argentinosaurus, archelon, baryonyx, brachiosaurus, carnotaurus, ceratosaurus, dilphosaurus, edmontosaurus, elasmosaurus, padillasaurus, parasaurolophus, sarcosuchus, spinosaurus, stegosaurus, styracosaurus, tyrannosaurus, therizinosaurus, triceratops, and velociraptor.
