Patch 1.0.16

  • Savage Lands NavMesh was re-baked to try to resolve an issue with flying and landing in mid-air.
  • Now if the player eats from a living creature, it will either aggro the player or flee the player depending on their dominance values.
  • Now, tasks have a 25% chance to give at least 1 evolution point for their reward, up from a 5% chance. Also, they can give up to 5 evolution points per task, up from 3.
  • Task text size has been reduced from 18 to 16.
  • Weights have been adjusted for the insects, so they are no longer never-ending food sources for hatchlings.
  • Nest food now clears toxicity for 3 minutes after it spawns, spoils after 10 minutes of toxicity starting to build up, and decays 10 minutes after it spoils.
  • Weather volume is now controlled by the "Weather" slider instead of the "Ambience" slider.
  • You are no longer able to toggle precise movement mode while flying or jumping.
  • You now gain less hydration from eating during the Sub-Adult growth stage.
  • Flying takeoff and jumping no longer look like you're walking in the air if you keep holding the movement keys while flying or jumping.

Patch 1.0.15

Fixed a crash that would happen when some creatures tried to build a nest.

Patch 1.0.14

  • Carcasses now remove toxicity for 1 minute per size category. (1=tiny, 2=small, 3=average, 4=medium, 5=large, 6=huge). Nest food is not affected by this mechanic.

  • Carcasses will now turn into a rotting carcass after 10 minutes per size category.

  • Rotting carcasses will now despawn after 10 minutes per size category.

  • The AI damageMultiplier value is now getting set properly to 1 by default for AI. Also, now the spinosaurus AI is doing damage again and hatchling AI are damaging insects again.

  • The AI bleedDamageMultiplier value is now getting set properly to 1 by default for AI.

  • Fixed a problem where newly killed creatures were not removing toxicity from creatures that ate from their carcass.

  • Made most insects move slower.

Patch 1.0.12

  • The player's creatures are no longer able to drink water while swimming.

  • The player's aquatic creatures are no longer able to drink water.

  • Eat Insect and Kill Insect tasks are no longer gained after growing to the sub-adult growth stage if your creature is tiny-sized.

  • Now the night vision light isn't as intense for smaller creatures.

  • Camera Near clipping plane has been set to 0.05, half of its previous value, this should help not clip through the ground in more cases (but not sometimes for very small creatures at certain camera angles).

  • The "Heavy Fog" and "Heavy Sandstorm" weather has been removed as it was extremely difficult to see through.

  • The ground tessellation effect has been reduced to one-fourth of its previous value, which should help smaller creatures not be hidden so much by the ground tessellation.

Patch 1.0.11

  • Carcasses that spawn at nests no longer give 50x accelerated growth when eaten.

  • Fish, arganodus, chinlea, devonion lungfish, and mawsonia no longer give extremely high amounts of accelerated growth when eaten.

  • If your creature's accelerated growth is above 2x from the above oversights, it will be set to 2x, which is the intended maximum.

  • There is now a 10 minute grace-period for carcasses before they will start becoming toxic.

  • Now after reaching 1 toxicity a carcass will turn into a pile of rotting meat. This takes 60 minutes for new carcasses.

  • Rotting meat is green in color.

  • Rotting meat is extremely toxic and should not be eaten.

  • After 60 minutes, a pile of rotting meat will be destroyed.

  • You now gain 2 minutes of accelerated growth per bite instead of 1 minute per bite.

  • Now, if the player is out of range of the target they were previously attacking they will no longer be able to deal damage to them.

  • Now, if the player is not facing the target they were previously attacking they will no longer be able to deal damage to them.

  • Aquatic nests are now rendering correctly.

  • The player is once again able to gain experience points and evolution points from eating.
