Crew Rework Complete: New Perks & Final Improvements

[p]Commanders![/p][p]Over the past few years, the Crew system in World of Tanks has gone through a series of important and meaningful changes. With Update 2.2, this long-term evolution reaches its final stage. [/p][p]Ten new perks and several quality-of-life improvements complete the Crew rework we’ve been taking for a couple of years. Now we bring the entire system to the vision we set from the very beginning: tactically rich, flexible, intuitive, and convenient for every Commander—without changing its familiar core.[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p][h2]New Perks: The Basics [/h2][p]Every role now gains new tactical tools designed to shine in real combat situations. All perks are built around: [/p]
  • [p]Critical moments in battle [/p]
  • [p]Situational advantages and smart decision-making [/p]
  • [p]Different playstyles and vehicle classes [/p]
[p]All existing perks remain unchanged, with the exception of a significant improvement to Reliable Placement.[/p]
  • [p]Reliable placement: When fully trained, increases HE shells damage absorption by 15%. Reduces the chance of engine fire by 15% and damage to your suspension by 15%.[/p]
[p][/p][h2]New Perks: Complete List[/h2][p]The new perks are considered final, though some values may still be fine-tuned in the future.[/p][h3]Commander[/h3]
  • [p]Hold the Line: Increases the crew efficiency bonus by 5% while the enemy team has at least three more vehicles in battle than yours.[/p]
  • [p]Stay Sharp: Increases the crew efficiency bonus by 5% for 15 s after using a First Aid Kit. Allows a First Aid Kit to be used even if no crew members are injured.[/p]
[h3]Gunner[/h3]
  • [p]Point Blank: Increases maximum potential penetration by 5% when firing at enemy vehicles less than 50 m away.[/p]
  • [p]Lone Wolf: Decreases gun dispersion and increases aiming speed by 5% while there are no allied vehicles within a 300 m radius.[/p]
[h3]Driver[/h3]
  • [p]Field Support: Increases suspension repair speed by 15% at distances of less than 50 m from an allied vehicle.[/p]
  • [p]Bulletproof: Increases the crew efficiency bonus by 2.5% if the amount of damage you block exceeds your vehicle's initial hit points.[/p]
[h3]Loader[/h3]
  • [p]The Second Chance: Reduces gun loading time by 2.5% for the next shell if the previous shot did not cause damage to an enemy vehicle.[/p]
  • [p]Mag Mastery: Decreases magazine reload time by 2.5%.[/p]
[h3]Radio Operator[/h3]
  • [p]Battle Tempered: Each time the vehicle's crew is stunned, decreases the negative effect of stunning by 7.5%, up to a maximum of 30%.[/p]
  • [p]Threat Search: Increases view range by 2% for 5 s after receiving the Sixth Sense alert.[/p]
[p][/p][h2]Quality of Life Improvements[/h2]
  • [p]Removal of Unneeded Crew Members. A dedicated button in the Barracks lets you permanently dismiss Crew members who don’t have enough experience to learn their first perk, freeing up space. Please note: this action is optional, clearly confirmed, and cannot be reverted. [/p]
  • [p]Perk Reset for Credits. Reset perks in the Tank Academy without losing XP for 100,000 credits—now you don't have to spend gold. [/p]
  • [p]Perk notifications control. Customize which perk notifications you see—keep what matters, disable the rest. [/p]
  • [p]Perks Visible in Vehicle Comparison. Evaluate how perks affect vehicle characteristics before spending resources. [/p]
