Account Transfer for CIS Realm Players: Next Stage

Dear players!
In September, CIS servers were turned off for World of Tanks Steam. All CIS realm players got an opportunity to transfer their accounts to the EU server and continue playing World of Tanks via Steam.
Since that time, the majority of our active playerbase have used the account transfer opportunity to stay with Wargaming and play on the EU server. However, there remains a number of so-called “inactive accounts”: players who decided to take a break from the game for a while and thus haven’t made a decision about the transfer.
Our next stage of the transfer process targets specifically these inactive accounts, and in this article, we will cover everything in detail.
NOTE: If you’ve already transferred your account from the CIS realm, nothing will change for you. You can share this article with your friends who haven’t transferred their accounts yet so that they can stay up to date.
NOTE: Starting from March 6 it will no longer be possible to manually choose the region for transfer.
Our Player Support Team will not accept tickets with such questions.
Next Stage of the Transfer: What Will Happen?
The automatic transfer for the inactive accounts will begin soon. All inactive accounts previously registered on the CIS realm via Steam will be automatically transferred to the EU server, retaining the progress, vehicles, purchases, gold, statistics etc.
Keep in mind that it will take some time to transfer all accounts that we consider to be "inactive". Our system will process them gradually over the course of several weeks.
During the automatic transfer process, a couple of so-called “collisions” can happen:
- You already have another World of Tanks account on the EU server, registered with the same Steam ID as your CIS realm account.
- You already have another World of Tanks account on the EU server, registered with the same email as your CIS realm account.
- You already have a WoWP/WoWS/WoT Blitz account on the EU server, registered with the same Steam ID as your CIS realm account.
NOTE: If you are unable to log in to your account on the web portal for any reason, you need to contact our Player Support Team. Keep in mind that our Player Support Team is currently experiencing an increase in the number of submitted tickets which results in longer waiting times. Don’t worry: your ticket will be processed.
If no collisions have been detected during the automatic transfer process, all you need to do to hop back into battles on the EU server is update your game on Steam and click “Play”. As easy as that!
