Our Steam Community unites tens of thousands of passionate tankers from all over the world. We are proud to see it grow and evolve every day, with new people joining, new discussion threads created, new artwork shared, and new guides published. We always try our best to keep this amazing Community entertained, even outside the game, through various Steam events and activities, and we never stop thinking of how we can make them even better and more rewarding.
We are excited to share our first big step in reimagining our Community activities on Steam: the introduction of Community Tokens and the Steam Community Shop!

[h2]What are Community Events?[/h2]
First of all, let’s clarify which events and activities we’re talking about. World of Tanks Steam regularly launches various giveaways and perk events that require you to perform certain actions on the World of Tanks Steam Hub in order to receive a reward (e.g., “Like” and leave a comment).

Usually, you can expect at least one subscription event, one tag suggestion event, and one giveaway event per month. Some months, there may be even more, and in the future, we plan to add additional event types.
Now that you understand what kind of events we are redesigning, it’s time to look at the actual changes.
[h2]What are the Steam Community Shop and Community Tokens?[/h2]
The Steam Community Shop is a new addition to the game. Here, you can choose your own rewards and purchase them for Community Tokens.
Previously, all Community events had a pre-determined reward that all participants received at the end of the event. It was a good and simple system, but it lacked flexibility. For example, our monthly reward for following us on Steam was a bunch of Personal Reserves. Of course, if a player already has plenty of Personal Reserves on their account, they’d rather get something else instead. The introduction of Community Tokens and the Steam Community Shop lets you do exactly that!
From March 6, 2023, all regular Community activities will have universal rewards: a certain amount of Community Tokens. You can spend these Tokens in the Community Shop to get the reward that you need most. You can save up your Tokens throughout the month to purchase better rewards, or you can spend them as soon as you get them: the choice is yours!
The Steam Community Shop will work in stages. Each stage will last approximately 2 months, and then we will refresh the available rewards. Please note that we will carefully monitor your feedback and adjust the Steam Community Shop mechanics if needed (e.g., the length of stages might change in the future, etc.).
NOTE: Earned Community Tokens DO NOT transfer between stages. When a stage ends, all unused Tokens will disappear, so make sure to spend all your Tokens in time!
You can expect various useful rewards in the Steam Community Shop, including consumables, Personal Reserves, credits, WoT Premium Account, Garage slots, and customization elements. Some rewards can be claimed an unlimited number of times, while others are limited to 1-2 times per account.
[h2]How to Find the Steam Community Shop[/h2]
- To find the Steam Community Shop, launch the game and open the DEPOT section.
- Then, find the HOMEFRONT SUPPLIES tab inside your Depot.
- Find the “Steam Community Shop” option in the HOMEFRONT SUPPLIES tab and click on it to view all of the available rewards and prices.
