Bring the Hammer Down: The Auction Returns!

Commanders,

The auction is returning with five exceptional lots. Each lot will be available for one day only, running from February 15 through February 19, and is not to be missed: In every lot, you’ll find a powerful high-tier vehicle with a unique playstyle and a significant collector value. Expect both brand-new tanks as well as classics, with some based on myths and legends from around the world!
The Auction
February 15 through February 19

EU: Bids accepted from 10:00 CET through 23:00 CET (UTC+1)
NA: Bids accepted from 05:00 PST through 18:00 PST (UTC−8)
ASIA: Bids accepted from 10:00 through 23:00 (UTC+8)

Every lot will be put on an open auction, meaning that, at any moment while it‘s active, you will see the number of bids made and (once the number of bids exceeds the number of items available) the competitive bid. Each lot will have a single designated in-game currency—gold, credits, or Free XP—in which your bids will be accepted.

Watch the video below for more details and some more hints about the lots!
Accessing the Auction
You can enter the auction via the special page in the in-game Store. Make sure to visit it (at least) daily while the auction is active!
Auction Mechanics
1. Once you’re on the auction screen, you can bid what you’re willing to pay for the lot. This amount will automatically be deducted from your account.

If the cost of a lot is specified in gold, the use of credits or Free XP will not be possible, and vice versa.

2. If you decide to change or cancel your bid, you are free to do so while the lot is active. After that, bids cannot be modified or canceled, and no new bids will be accepted. If you cancel a bid, the spent amount of gold, credits, or Free XP will be returned to your account. Bids will be returned, and lots will be credited to the auction winners within four hours after the deadline for accepting bids.

3. The number of winning players will depend on the number of items available. If multiple players make the lowest winning bid and there are more of these players than items to be distributed, the players who made the bids earliest will be awarded the item.

Example: If 700 auction participants made identical lowest winning bids, and if there are only 500 items to be distributed, the 500 earliest bids will win.

4. This time, every lot will be sold at an open auction. This means that in addition to the lot’s contents, the number of available items, the minimum bid, and the deadline for accepting new bids, you will see the number of bids that have already been made and the competitive (median) bid (after the number of bids has exceeded the number of available items).

5. The winners will receive their goods. The remaining auction participants receive their bids back in full.

6. Items won in the auction are non-refundable.

Keep your eyes (and your in-game coffers) open for a chance to obtain very rare and valuable vehicles, Commanders!

G.I. Joe Returns to Battle

Commanders!

World of Tanks is relaunching a special collaboration!

Created by Hasbro, G.I. Joe is one of the most popular action figure lines in the world. Generations of kids in the U.S. and beyond played with them and were captivated by the struggle of the international elite spec ops team against their sworn enemies of Cobra, a multi-faceted and masterfully coordinated global criminal network. Uncounted millions of battles that have been fought with plastic action figures (often commanded by present-day online tankers) have elevated G.I. Joe to the status of a cultural phenomenon.

The famous adversaries from G.I. Joe and Cobra have come to World of Tanks to settle their scores in their impressive vehicles: the B.T.T. (having the same stats as the TS-5), the B.O.A. (having the same stats as the T-54 first prototype), the C.A.T. (having the same stats as the M54 Renegade), and the Wolverine (having the same stats as the Strv S1).

The exteriors of the B.T.T., B.O.A., C.A.T., and Wolverine are non-historical; their display can be toggled on or off at any time in your game settings under the General tab.
Grab Exclusive Content
These bundles feature four commanders—Cover Girl, Duke, Cobra Commander, and Baroness—each of whom come with their own in-game battle voiceover, four unique 3D styles inspired by the iconic Retro collection from Hasbro, and a whole load of customization elements.
The Toys Are Back in Town
Inspired by the G.I. Joe universe, the 3D styles take a lot after their prototypes, including the trademark plastic look and feel. Check it out:
 • Representing a different technological era, the M.O.B.A.T. and the H.I.S.S. didn’t make it into World of Tanks as playable armored vehicles. Instead, we introduced the B.O.A. and the B.T.T., which also embody the character of their respective factions to the fullest.
 • The Wolverine 3D style is inspired by the same-name Armored Missile Vehicle that was released in 1983. "Based on the U.S. Army's top-secret weapons system," the toy model came with a Cover Girl figurine and featured twin rocket launchers loaded with a total of 12 stinger missiles.
 • The M54 Renegade is reborn as a weapon of Cobra! The C.A.T. (Motorized Crimson Attack Tank) style is inspired by the limited-edition toy model that was released in 1985. Secretly developed by Cobra engineers, the vehicle is one of the most advanced and efficient vehicles in its class. Climbs tough terrain and turns like a real tank!

Each faction comes with authentic decals and inscriptions you can apply to any vehicle on your roster. The decals represent the original Wolverine and C.A.T. tank designs.

Applying G.I. Joe or Cobra decals and inscriptions to your tank isn't just about declaring your allegiance to one of the factions—it's also a proclamation of your armored combat style or even your current mood! So what do you prefer today, Commanders? To smite or to bite?

Account Transfer for CIS Realm Players: Next Stage

Dear players!

In September, CIS servers were turned off for World of Tanks Steam. All CIS realm players got an opportunity to transfer their accounts to the EU server and continue playing World of Tanks via Steam.

Since that time, the majority of our active playerbase have used the account transfer opportunity to stay with Wargaming and play on the EU server. However, there remains a number of so-called “inactive accounts”: players who decided to take a break from the game for a while and thus haven’t made a decision about the transfer.

Our next stage of the transfer process targets specifically these inactive accounts, and in this article, we will cover everything in detail.

NOTE: If you’ve already transferred your account from the CIS realm, nothing will change for you. You can share this article with your friends who haven’t transferred their accounts yet so that they can stay up to date.

NOTE: Starting from March 6 it will no longer be possible to manually choose the region for transfer.

Our Player Support Team will not accept tickets with such questions.
Next Stage of the Transfer: What Will Happen?
The automatic transfer for the inactive accounts will begin soon. All inactive accounts previously registered on the CIS realm via Steam will be automatically transferred to the EU server, retaining the progress, vehicles, purchases, gold, statistics etc.

Keep in mind that it will take some time to transfer all accounts that we consider to be "inactive". Our system will process them gradually over the course of several weeks.

During the automatic transfer process, a couple of so-called “collisions” can happen:

 1. You already have another World of Tanks account on the EU server, registered with the same Steam ID as your CIS realm account.

 2. You already have another World of Tanks account on the EU server, registered with the same email as your CIS realm account.

 3. You already have a WoWP/WoWS/WoT Blitz account on the EU server, registered with the same Steam ID as your CIS realm account.
In these cases, you need to resolve the collision to be able to play on your transferred account on the EU server. To do that, please log in on the special portal and perform the required actions (e.g. unbind your Steam ID from your old account, change your email etc.).

NOTE: If you are unable to log in to your account on the web portal for any reason, you need to contact our Player Support Team. Keep in mind that our Player Support Team is currently experiencing an increase in the number of submitted tickets which results in longer waiting times. Don’t worry: your ticket will be processed.

If no collisions have been detected during the automatic transfer process, all you need to do to hop back into battles on the EU server is update your game on Steam and click “Play”. As easy as that!
Next Stage of the Transfer: Frequently Asked Questions
Question
Answer
Do I need to do anything if I already transferred my account earlier?
No, in this case nothing will change for you.

If you know someone who used to play World of Tanks via Steam but haven’t logged in since September 2022, you can share this article with them to keep them updated.
For how long will the transfer procedure be available?
The transfer process will be stopped after all inactive accounts have been transferred to the EU server. We will inform you about the exact date later.
What will happen to my CIS realm account after my data is transferred to the EU server?
It will be blocked and deleted after the end of the process of automatic transfer. We will inform you about the exact date later.
Player Support Center doesn’t reply to my ticket about the transfer. What should I do?
Our Player Support Center is currently processing a large number of tickets, resulting in longer waiting times. Don’t worry, your ticket will be processed, you just need to wait for some time.
Do I need to accept new documents or regulations after the transfer?
Upon your first login to the game you will need to read and accept the EULA for the EU server players. You can also read the details about our Privacy Policy if you wish to.
What will happen to my personal data upon transfer?
Your data will be managed by Wargaming Group Limited as before. You will have an opportunity to check our Privacy Policy again if you wish to.

If you wish to learn more about the general transfer details (e.g. information about the transfer of items/statistics/clans etc. to the EU server), feel free to check out the FAQ in our previous transfer-related article.

If you have any questions that aren’t covered in either of these articles, do not hesitate to ask them in the comments right below this post. We will be happy to help!
