Minigame Madness Demo V0.0.5 is out now!

Audio revamp, quality of life changes, optimizations and more!

This update adds dedicated footstep sound effects for each and every surface type, and many other changes we already can't live without anymore! 😁

Last update we said there was probably only going to be one more demo update, as we plan to focus on the full game again after that. That turned out to be incorrect. The update AFTER this one will be the last demo update in a while!

We had to split this update in two, because we needed to release all the quality of life changes in this update quickly, as we're participating in many events in the coming days! 🤩

  • Added Traditional Chinese and Vietnamese translations to the game
  • Added new "Jump Rope" Disco Disorder dance
  • Added dedicated footstep sounds per surface type
  • Added ragdoll collision sound effects and screenshakes even after the initial knock-out hit
  • Added crate collision sound effects in Frantic Forces
  • Added windows to Frantic Forces container to be able to view the ocean from inside the container
  • Added auto-detect of graphics settings at first start of the game
  • Added more seaweed to Frantic Forces ocean
  • Added chains attached to the top of Frantic Forces container
  • Added an animation to the player preview showing and hiding when playing with it disabled
  • Added confirm dialog for turning on FidelityFX for the first time
  • Changed the medium graphics quality setting to be called normal instead

  • Changed some of the more difficult Disco Disorder dances to now only appear after a certain amount of time
  • Changed NPC names to be linked to their outfit, DemoBot#072 will now always look the same for example

  • Changed NPCs to now be able to be pushed around like normal players
  • Changed splashscreen so you can immediately click through after closing any messageboxes
  • Changed the "Jump" Disco Disorder dance to now be called "Trampoline"
  • Changed VR glass transition effect to be slightly colored
  • Changed physics balloons and physics crates in Frantic Forces to work better under 20FPS
  • Changed FidelityFX by merging it with display scale for simplicity sake
  • Changed the dithering of the chains in Frantic Forces to allow more game visibility
  • Changed autodetect to not change display scale
  • Changed the bubbles in Frantic Forces to be bigger and spawn more of them
  • Changed Frantic Forces ocean shader bounding box to fit the container bounds more accurately
  • Changed interface shading color to be a bit transparent, making it look better on a white background
  • Changed the towers in Blazing Bullets to be slightly tilted
  • Changed seaweed in Frantic Forces to be 3D instead of flat
  • Changed the players tab scrollbar shading to only show if there are more than 16 players in the server
  • Changed the players tab Mub preview to stop rendering when the stats tab is shown
  • Changed player preview to stop rendering when disabled
  • Changed chains on ceiling of Frantic Forces container to connect tighter
  • Changed video tab in settings to be split into video|graphics|camera tabs
  • Changed interface pop up animations to be more smooth
  • Changed NPCs in Blazing Bullets to be slightly smarter (but still pretty stupid)

  • Changed when an inventory item gets dragged to an empty spot it now becomes the last item in inventory

  • Fixed player preview being dark for one tick when going into the elevator

  • Fixed Mub preview jitter when using live previews during a map switch

  • Fixed 4 footsteps being played on each land when jumping repeatedly
  • Fixed sometimes no footstep sound being played when jumping or landing
  • Fixed menu glitchy animation when opening and closing quickly
  • Removed refraction effect from bubbles in Frantic Forces because it was jarring
