This is the realm of Mictlantecutli and, according to the scarce historical references, it is believed that it has four entrances: one for each cardinal point, with the main one being on the west, where each day dies...

In order to finally reach this entrance, all the lost souls must go through a long and perilous journey with 9 challenges to overcome.

Whistle of Death

Music, dances and special rituals will be featured in Mictlan: An Ancient Mythical Tale.

Among other game assets, our wonderful 3D modeling team has been working on several musical instruments, including the most terrifying of them all... the whistle of death.

Some scholars believe that this instrument was used to help guide sacrificial victims on their journey to the afterlife, recreating the screech of howling wind...

El Fisico Gamer joining Mictlan

El Fisico Gamer is a Mexican content producer who spends his time solving their fans mathematical and physics problems and playing his favorite videogames.
A very unique teacher with a heart of gold, continuously inspiring young Mexicans to be interested in science and turn to videogames as tools to learn and entertain themselves.

We decided to include him in Mictlan, transforming him in a game character, specifically as a 16th century astronomer, this is the result!
