THE DRAGONESS DEMO IS NOW LIVE!
Before you check it out, however - we wanted to say a quick hello from Crazy Goat Games and PQube.
A big thank you to everyone who has visited and dropped us a wishlist so far, it's always appreciated!
As some of you will know, the page has been up for a while - and the eagle-eyed among you will notice some changes to the page. Refreshing the key art and design for the Commander - the protagonist of The Dragoness - as well as some brand new screens as we get closer to finalising many of the elements of the final game.
We are of course a long way from finishing, but we are very happy to be able to share with you the first demo of the game, which will be participating in Next Fest at the end of next week - the 1st of October.
As ever, we really value your feedback and would love to hear from you in the community discussions.
So what can you expect from the demo itself?
The demo will serve as a great introduction to The Dragoness, specifically the game's core mechanics of exploration, base building, the unlocking of skills, tactical combat and recruitment to your beast army.
This should give you a great overview of the core loop. Once you're though the opening and tutorial you will get your first mission - to secure the four Granaries at Fearann.
Completing your objective will mark the demos end. For those of you who would like to really explore as much as possible and to play around and experience more of the demo, we would suggest holding back on capturing the fourth Granary as returning back to The Dragoness with any resources will allow you to unlock a little more back at base.
So what are the next steps after Next Fest?
Currently we are getting ready for a closed BETA build. Do please keep an eye out for any upcoming updates, where we will let you know where to register to participate, when the time comes!
