Steam Achievements

Hello!

A little update has been posted which adds steam achievements to the game.

Some of the achievements are easy to unlock, simply playing the game and beating levels.
While other achievements may take some thought and time..

Either way, enjoy playing and have fun!

Update v1.040 (Heroes)

This update introduces heroes into the game who give an little extra help to each level when used. Currently, there are two different heroes, each a set of skills that are unlocked by gaining experience and leveling up.

The soldier can use a concussion grenade to daze monsters temporarily.

The engineer can buff towers temporally making them much more powerful.

Please note that the heroes are not final and things will change in the near future. The interface for hero selection is a prototype and will be overhauled soon but I wanted to get a testing version out so I can get feedback on the heroes!

Update v1.0340 -- Shortcuts (aka Hotkeys)

Added a new system for shortcuts to allow the player to do some of the basic functions in game by pressing a key instead. The current release maps all the main buttons, such as Pause/Resume, Speed control, Rushing and building new towers. The shortcuts can be remapped to different keys by opening the settings window and clicking the Shortcuts tab.

In addition to the shortcuts, I also added a minor feature for placing multiple towers by holding down shift while placing. This will allow you to move the tower around without dragging and will allow you to build by clicking the left mouse button and will setup a new placement of the same tower type so you can quickly plan/build many towers.
