Antipaint Is Out!

Antipaint has been released! I've worked on Antipaint for almost 4 years and I'm excited to share it with the world. The game started out as an arcade shooter side project, but it gradually grew into the paint-tastic roguelite that you can play today. I'd like to take a moment to thank everyone who followed the project, helped me with ideas, feedback, testing, sounds, code, art, music, support and everything else. I couldn't have done it without you - THANK YOU.
What's next?
The release is just the start. The core of the game is done, but there are plenty of ideas and features that would make Antipaint even better and more fun. Expect more things to come.
With the increased player base, I expect some uncaught bugs to creep up. If you find an issue with the game - please don't hesitate to report it in the steam forums or our discord server. I'll try to get it fixed as soon as possible, so that everyone can have the smoothest experience.

Hope you'll enjoy Antipaint as much as I enjoyed making it. Make sure to hop on our discord server to share your experience, art and ideas with the rest of the gang. Cheers!

Vilius.

Antipaint Coming out on March 11th!

Greetings, aspiring artists.

Thank you for checking out Antipaint during Steam's Next Fest. I'm completely stunned by all the kind words, ideas and feedback you've shared in these last few weeks. Thank you!

This is a quick announcement to let you know that the release date for Antipaint has been set. It's March 11th, 2024. Sharpen your pencils, grab that paint can and brush, because in four weeks you'll be able to unleash your full creativity.

I hope that you'll enjoy the game as much as you've enjoyed the demo. Cheers!

Development Update #8

Greetings!
We're back with another development update. Here's what we've been cooking!
Item Sets
You can now collect themed item sets. At first you can only obtain a single starter item from a set, but once you grab it, all the other items become available. Feel like becoming a robot that generates art? There's an item set just for you! Do you think food is the ultimate form of art? We've got you covered! All the item sets will be available in the full game.
More Choices
More choices have been added into the game. You can choose different paths to progress through the game, with different challenges and rewards. You can complete mini quests to get powerful items and then you can use the paint mixer to trade them in for a different item. Alongside that, many new items have also been added!
Demo Overhaul
The demo received a significant overhaul. It's now longer, features more items, different brushes and two bosses. Check it out! Let us know what you think! Analytics have also been added, but they are optional. They should help us tweak and balance the game, so it helps a lot if you allow them!
Other Stuff
A lot of other minor changes have been done. There's now an inventory screen which you can open with TAB. The enemies leave giblets on the floor when popped. There's fancy new music! Antipaint is coming along nicely, so if you can - play the demo, spread the word and keep on painting!
