Greetings, Hogardians!
On March 20, 2025, the final act of the Campaign unfolds, bringing six new scenarios to the battle against the creatures of the Mist. Brace yourself for the depths of a brand-new biome, the challenge of darkness mechanics, and the ruthless Opaline Horrors. Plus, a complete Survival Mode overhaul introduces rogue-like upgrades and deeper strategic layers.

Did you like the trailer? We hope you’re as excited about the full launch as we are, especially considering everything coming to Cataclismo with the 1.0 version.
What’s New in Version 1.0
• Campaign Mode: Final act, with 6 additional scenarios.
 • Survival Mode Overhaul: A more survival-oriented take on the previous Endless Mode, keeping the relentless waves of enemies while adding in-run rogue-like upgrades, rock-paper-scissors mechanics, and more.
 • The Depths: A murky, new biome is available in Campaign, Survival, Skirmish, and Level Editor.
 • Darkness Mechanics: Levels set in the Depths are plunged into darkness, and units can’t hit horrors in unlit areas. Pieces to deal with this effect were added to the Campaign.
 • Opaline Horrors: These pearlescent versions of horrors have never been exposed to light and, therefore, are more vicious and menacing than the other creatures of the Mist.
 • Iris Renegade: A makeover for our hero, including a new set of skills that allows her to cast Ecos.
 • New Skirmishes: Two new, handcrafted skirmishes set in the Depths.
 • Plenty of QoL Improvements and Bug Fixes.

From the label behind Manor Lords, giant RTS Cataclismo is about to get bigger

Fellow strategy game and RTS Frostpunk 2 makes the end of the world feel suitably dour. Resources run short. People struggle for warmth. Survival always hangs in the balance. Cataclismo, published by Hooded Horse, the esteemed label behind Manor Lords and Against The Storm, makes the apocalypse a little more spectacular. Charged with defending a series of outposts from the mutant hordes that besiege them night after night, all your building work is granular - everything is made from individual bricks and planks. It gives you lots of room for creativity. It also makes for fantastic concrete fireworks when you get overrun. And now, finally, Cataclismo is about to hit its full 1.0 launch.
Now, here's a roundup of the latest news!
Cataclismo’s Update 4 (0.22) delivered major new features and improvements alongside the Endless Mode beta, which focuses on replayability and customization.

The update introduces custom Endless maps, allowing players to adjust nearly every aspect of their gameplay experience, from resource levels to enemy layouts. Maps can be randomized for unpredictable challenges, and even campaign and skirmish maps are now playable in Endless Mode.

A Rebuild Tool makes it easier than ever to restore defenses after nightly attacks, addressing one of the most frequent player requests. The addition of a Height Filter offers a practical way to simplify visibility, hiding objects above a certain level for clearer planning.

The Blueprints Panel has been reworked, now featuring filters, favorites, and an expandable view for improved organization. Meanwhile, new Level Editor controls for camera, mist, and spawner bindings give players even greater creative flexibility.

Finally, a Tutorial Skip option has been added for experienced players, letting them bypass the first level and jump straight into the action.

The Endless Mode beta is now live, offering an early look at these changes. Players are encouraged to dive in, explore, and share their feedback.
